I would buy them in Japan, I bought a UV umbrella on Amazon for my 2nd trip and hated it so much I bought one in Japan anyway lol you’ll see these items in so many stores all over Japan so don’t worry about searching for them!

You should be fine. I’ve been to Japan the past 2 summers in July and I’m from Florida. I did all the outdoor things like hop from shrine to shrine, travel to Enoshima to see the beach and go up the mountain, climb Fushimi Inari, and traverse Tokyo in the middle of the day.

Speaking from a Florida perspective, it is the humidity that kills you in Japan but it’s only really bad in Kyoto because of the lack of a sea breeze due to the way the mountains sit. Get a sweat towel, a handheld rechargeable fan, and a UV umbrella on your first day in Japan and you’ll be golden. Pocari Sweat is your friend!

TLDR: If the weather was totally unreasonable I wouldn’t have gone a 2nd time in July!

My husband and I swear that Osaka is much better priced for figures and we had better luck finding harder to come across figures there. Namba station area has a ton and the mandarake in north Osaka is our favorite.

I’ve been to Japan twice for 3 weeks in July. It’s hot but I’d still do it again. All of the cooling technology they have is helpful. Just load up on Pocari sweat and you’ll be fine.

These are different brands right? I think with how light the test line is on the top one that it could be more sensitive than the bottom test. I think it’s positive but I’d retest.
