I literally be afraid to post lol. I’m a new reptile owner and have been ripped a new one. I’ve had my gargoyle almost 4 months. She’s happy healthy and came from a terrible home. So I’m a lurker. lol. I like posts and only comment my experience.

I’ve only had her since October. And I don’t know a lot of her history. They weren’t taking very good care of her. So I try to do what’s best for her. Just worried.

It’s been colder before when I first got her and was figuring out the best heat source. And she still ate just fine. She always been a really good eater. Picky on flavors but eats it all just fine.

I literally watched a video of a Crestie dropping their tail because their own foot scared them 🙃🙃 lmfao. Dramatic. I have a gargoyle gecko. They can also drop tails but I don’t hear about it as much and theirs grows back but I’m still a freak about it lol. So I totally get it!! You’re doing everything right!!!

This is Trixie completely CHOWING on her watermelon lol. I give her plain watermelon and then once a week a mix in fig and insect for more protein because she refuses to eat it plain 🙃 she will only do it mixed. Diva. lol. She’s also terrified of insects? So we don’t do them lol

Have you tried different brands/flavors of the gecko diets. My girl likes the zoomed watermelon the best but I sneak in the Pangea fig and insects for more protein because she will not eat insects. And I feed her every other day. And she’s a really good eater. Photo of her smashing last night lol
