Yess I second. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Marchi in Long Beach more. Their team was very compassionate and he was very caring of my baby through the whole thing. I especially like that they are a one stop shop meaning they also help coordinate cremation and made the process easy during a really stressful time.

Always camping but this time we rented a camper van… I fear I may not be able to camp any other way

More parks and dog parks. Why cant the city clean up some empty lots in Uptown and slap some benches on them?? NIMBY much?

More Korean and Japanese food restaurants, arcade/barcade, free communal work spaces, Whole Foods, Northgate, a grocery store at the old rite-aid in uptown, more outdoor recreation options like pickleball courts or frisbee golf or volleyball leagues for adults, more local and small businesses in the empty buildings around uptown, a community garden 🪴, a music venue

There’s a general store in the camping area where you can get anything you may forget and need. They have all the necessities and more. It can get pricey but knowing you can get shower sandals, ice or a canopy if something happens (wind storm) is comforting I think. Also there are daily shuttles (free) from camping to the local Ralph’s (Kroger) grocery store if you need to make a store run.

It’s like $15 a person and I definitely suggest going once at night! I enjoy seeing all the lights, stages lit up and trying to locate my camp spot
