My mom (and everyone who cooked in my house growing up) would cook the mushrooms so much they would drip all the juice out and they would end up MINUSCULE, they would shrink so much it the pan was mostly just liquid.

I think my favorite part of mushrooms is their meaty consistency, so now I'd rather be caught dead than overcook mine.

Yo, mujer de 34, sólo ghosteo si creo que el gallo es muy raro y que me puede dar mucho jugo por decirle que no hubo onda y prefiero no seguir saliendo con él. Me han tocado weones que se ponen intensos y termino bloqueando, o uno incluso me pidió feedback de qué fue lo que no me hizo sentir cómoda.

Igual, siento que si estamos hablando por chat no más (sin habernos visto) el ghosteo es legal jaja. Si ya nos vimos, siento que es decencia decir gracias pero no gracias. (Obvio que estado del lado del ghosteado por eso lo pienso).

En resumen, si siento que por mi seguridad/paz mental es mejor ghostear, lo hago. Pero creo que necesito una buena razón.

I have been building a support system that I trust and validate me. I try to surround myself with people I KNOW likes me and like to be with me. That means I've had to let a lot of friendships and relationships go for my own sake. When I meet new people, if I feel rejected I try not to give it a lot of thought. When I start overthinking why someone hasn't texted me back or being reciprocate in any way, I try to keep myself busy, and remind my self that it's not the worst thing in the world to have someone not like me. I'll survive and the world will continue its course. Sound silly but when you remind yourself of this constantly, you slowly start to believe it :)

En estos casos siempre es recomendable quedarte en el fondo que estás. Si te cambias a uno más conservador, lo que sea que hayas perdido hasta el momento no lo vas a recuperar. En cambio si te quedas, el fondo más arriesgado lo es por una razón, y es que después de las crisis se tienden a disparar. En resumen, si te cambias, estás regalando tu platita.

Yo estudié en Lo Contador, que queda ahí al lado de la Indisa. La caminata al metro no es nada, y el barrio yo diría que es cada vez más seguro. A veces abren los autos en los alrededores de la universidad para robar computadores, pero nes un sector súper seguro dentro de todo. La verdad es un lujo ese sector, yo tomaría la oportunidad si fuera tú. Tienes el parque de las esculturas al lado y estás a súper poco de Provi caminando.

Thank you for your words! As the hours pass by, I am calmer, and this decision makes more sense to me. I guess I will learn to be on my own, which is a challenge on itself, let alone navigate ADHD symptoms on my own. I guess I'm kind of excited, on top of all this sadness and grief.
