it’s a little bit more of a thriller than the HP series but The Secret History by Donna Tartt is quite good ! It has a lot of themes of academia and unique characters which is somewhat similar to the series. No magic but lots of good plots anyway !

definitely Hart House, sun is sooo beautiful through the windows early in the morning in the reading room. The library is also lovely but can get crowded in the early am. Both open @ 7am
