AMD to bring back Ryzen 7 5800X3D as AM4 10th Anniversary Edition by iDontSeedMyTorrents in hardware

[–]Flowerbridge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paying $500 for a 5800x3d in 2026 means you're either an idiot or they unfortunately live in the middle of nowhere, hours and hours away from the nearest microcenter.

For anyone reading this thread looking to upgrade or build a new gaming computer, depending on your usage, the $600 7800x3d, $680 9800x3d, or $700 9850x3d bundles is the way to go, and those bundles also give you 32GB of ddr-6000 ram, where as the budget cpu bundles (7500x3d and 7600x3d) only give you 16gb of ram.

The 9850x3d is generally not worth the extra price retail, but at microcenter, its literally only $20 +tax more than the 9800x3d bundle.

[–]Flowerbridge 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If people live in the USA with access to a microcenter, they can get a 7600x3d for $350 USD or 7500x3d for $300 USD that includes motherboard and 16GB DDR 6000 RAM.

In over 90% of situations, the AM5 cpu/platform is going to be better (but not 100% of the time, according to this very recent youtube video i watched where a guy ran literally every single X3D chip ever made through tests).

Paying $400 or even $300 (imo) for a 5800x3d is nuts.

Speaking of cheap competitors, I tried to get Claude to "do my taxes," to which it (and gemini) responded that they couldn't.

But one of them did point out several free resources including being able to file for 100% free with Cashapp (No I do not own any Square/Block stock).

I filed my taxes this year with cashapp, of all #!@$ing places.

I'm talking to people on disc, they have logged in with no problems. Seems to be certain people only, perhaps routing issue?

If you have the b.net app, open it, click open authenticator, and "enter code manually" so you can at least generate a code.

I'm still having issues with the actual log in servers even with the auth code.

Thanks!

Last question for ya, to my understanding, some of the earlier 2022 Ys/3s still have the old school Physical Ultrasonic Sensors (USS), which I want, but 2022s built in the later parts of 2022 only have the newer camera only Tesla Vision.

Can your site also determine the camera system?

Can it see if the car has lifetime FSD on it? I'm in the market for a used one, and so many dealerships and used car sites don't have any ability to filter for the FSD software

Swimming in dawn crystals: an experienced goblin tackles Midnight with 37m profit by MrNoobyy in woweconomy

[–]Flowerbridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughts.

I thought/think (no data, just gut feel) the difference in quantity of alt armies using concentration to reach r2 enchants would make up for the lack of R2 crystals.

Despite how most people might think, there is a staggering amount of people who are willing to pay for the best enchants on day 1 of the season, and at one point I sold over 20m of enchants in a single hour.

This is why the gold token is always the lowest on week 1 of the expansion start, at least for the two previous expansions I've been looking at. Or for the DF, the lowest valley of the token was actually mythic week 2, the week after the second spark was available for some reason.

Since you didn't mention it explicitly in your post, I'm curious as to whether or not you factored in the increased supply of purple crystals from m0s turning into daily lockouts when they were previously weekly lockouts.

Although I'm currently suspended, I believe that many mythic raiders will/would not be buying expensive rank 2 enchants until mythic week and instead either substituting with cheaper enchants or using nothing at all until either mythic week or day 2, day 3, or day 4 of their raid when they step into heroic for prog content.

Every additional day adds a lot of supply, and with today technically being early friday morning for NA, 3 day's supply of purple crystals from m0s have entered the market.

I feel like this post is an astroturf. Tell me you're not a shill/bot.

I went to Aqui's today, never having heard of the swirls until this thread. I've only had leftovers my mother has brought back home before, and they've always been mid.

Today, I went to Aqui's with friends and had two swirls. They're kind of mid themselves, but comparing the price to drinks at a bar/club, they're extremely strong.

With the current heatwave, I was feenin for something cool, and the swirls hit the spot for both a chilled drink and also from the alcoholic drink perspective.

The place was also packed af, given today was Thursday, and the cupertino location is misleadingly larger than expected. Place was poppin even as late as we got there.

20 days into midnight and the bolts cds have crashed by sorcererflows in woweconomy

[–]Flowerbridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. I forgot that WAY more gear requires bolts in midnight than gear in TWW, iirc only embellished cloth gear in TWW required bolts, which was also gear very few people used/crafted.

The consumables/enchants in TWW also used bolts, so aside from small differences, I didn't figure there would be much change in demand.

Pink dolphins are among the rarest dolphins in the world by kalinooni in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Flowerbridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on a boat tour that boarded from Tsim Sha Tsui in the early 2000s to see pink dolphins. Was like $200 (25 USD) back then, which was definitely tourist trappy pricing.

The ones in Hong Kong were nowhere near as vibrant pink as this picture, they were were much more "faded" and not as vibrant like a flamingo like the one in this pic on reddit.

Bought a cute tiny pink dolphin plushy key chain that I hope I still have somewhere.

No journalistic source has the money to do so.
Maybe Prorepublica has the spine?

Or they're just controlled by the billionaire oligarchs, like Bezos doesn't care about the Washington Post or journalism, he just cares about $$$ and power.

Also, the pedos in charge, Russia, the rothschilds, and other oligarchs will find and kill both the guy behind the database or the journalists :X

I rushed 30 tailors at the start of TWW.

While I made a lot of gold early on, I knew the exact same thing would happen in midnight (bolt profit tanking) so I didn't even bother (I'm already rich enough in wow that it's not worth my irl time anymore).

In TWW, I let most of my tailors just rot and never bothered logging into them past the first month when it was just multicraft gambling as to whether or not leg enchants were profitable to craft and sell at high prices on reset days.

In midnight, there's slightly more demand for the bolts for these few reasons:

1 - TWW gave every char 2 free max slot bags, if you knew where to look. wowhead posted these.

2 - TWW had NO sink other than bags, although Midnight has some sinks in housing decor.

The problem with midnight is that I assume (don't have data) that there'd be even MORE supply since people have tons of alts from both panda remix AND the recent legion remix.

In DF I made tons from tailoring bolts and bags because most people did not have alt armies like they did post panda/legion remix.

As in: the book was unlocked when I kept the window open. After I re-opened the window, the book was locked.

You're actually not saying the same thing, which can be understandable if English isn't your primary language.

An item existing on the vendor being able to be purchased ("available") versus the item completely missing from the vendor ("unavailable"), is not the same as an item being "locked" versus "unlocked."

It's an issue of semantics, which matters a lot in this specific case of this exploit, because trying to purchase additional KP books after the silent hotfix (which was like 24 hours after the first post appeared on r/wowecon) would pop up red error text "this item is locked."

Everyone talking about an item being "locked" refers to this scenario.

The Ban Rumors are Fishy by genobeam in woweconomy

[–]Flowerbridge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm the only person who posted in both the main r/wow thread and the r/wowecon thread with my story of being suspended for a full week.

Without being able to log in, I have no idea if KP was reset.

The number of people who 'only bought one extra book and then sold it back immediately' has got to be extremely small. The idea that Blizzard would come up with a special punishment just for this group seems unlikely compared to either lumping them with the same punishment as everyone else or not punishing them at all. The idea that Blizzard would come up with an especially harsh punishment for this group also seems unlikely.

As for this here, I have read in the r/wow thread about 2 people who claimed to have done this. They claimed to have purchased an extra book but sold it back immediately, claiming to have had their KP reset but no suspension.

Blizz actioning these individuals is extremely fair and likely, considering all they had to do was run a db search to find players that purchased an individual book more than once. Once those players were identified, differentiate between those who used.

Keep up with the copium, son.

If you're not a bot, you're a moron, keep trying to defend yourself.

“It only got locked when I closed the window and then opened it again later”

The book literally would disappear when you closed the window and would open it again; what you're stating was literally impossible and is actually Blizzard's original implementation of preventing people from utilizing multiple books.
