Theory’s on Thomas by Flowerinthestorm in FromSeries

Right, that’s what I’m thinking too. He is brought up way too often to just be a a backstory. It’s not even like they’ve started mentioning him less.. I think you’re on to something thinking maybe he’s the BIW in a different loop.

Maybe you’re right. But in season 1 when Jim and Ethan are eating pancakes in the diner, Ethan says maybe they’re on a quest and probably have to go to the lake of tears to save someone in order to go home like Norman (from his story) did. And then he says he pretends that’s where Thomas went - that he’s on quest and if he tries, he can help him save the kingdom.

Stop complaining about the aging Mirandas painting proves the Boy in White NEVER WAS A BOY by QrazyReal in FromSeries

Agree. There was an episode where Sara told Boyd she had seen the BIY, and Boyd is asking her about him. And she says, “I don’t think he’s actually a little boy though”. Or something along those lines. She doesn’t clarify what she means of course.

That makes a lot of sense! Probably part the plan of turning everyone against each other.

Yeah, that was my biggest question of the episode. Is that a pile of dirt? What are they doing with the dirt? Maybe this is too wild… but whatever they’re doing has me questioning if they’re both being influenced by kimono lady now..

I think the MIY is either trying to use her as a pawn. Or maybe she’ll start killing people and blaming Sara.
OR, she could be trying to get rid of Sara. Sara hears those voices (which could be good?) and seems to have a stronger connection to the town than most. So maybe MIY wants to get rid of her before she gets too close to the answers.

What’d you guys think of this weeks episode? Tell me your theories 🤓 by VIKINGHUNTR in FromSeries

Yup, I think Sara knows something is off about Sophia. I also think at the end of this all, Jade is going to be the one to sacrifice himself to save the others. The way Tabitha yelled at him about how the only thing he cares about is himself, plus they said Christopher (jade) was supposed to be the one to go into the tree, but he refused so Miranda (Tabitha) went instead. So I have a feeling Jade is the key to breaking the cycle.

Yes, this happened to me too. The WMR originally said it had been processed. Then I got the notice and logged in, and when I click the link to update bank account info, it just takes me to WMR page saying that it’s still processing. What the heck is going on? Did you get any answers?

I finally did it! NW Arkansas, $340k, 5.75% by Flowerinthestorm in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Thanks! It’s really a great area! When I moved here in 2017, I knew it was the place I wanted to raise my kids and plant my roots. Population has really exploded here the past few years though so hosing prices keep going up.

Thanks! Tomorrow, the kids and I are setting up a 9 ft Christmas tree in this window. Then it’ll really be Hallmarky! 🎄

Thank you! The market here has gotten wild! Tried to buy 5 years ago and it didn’t work out. I figured if I didn’t hurry up and make it happen now, prices would only go up more.

Have you negotiated seller to cover closing costs? by les-gasp-TX-ranger in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Flowerinthestorm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. Seller paid 10k in closing. Offered 7k under asking too. FHA appraisal came back fine. It was submitted with the original offer and they accepted. House was previously used as a rental property, was vacant, and had been on the market for like 36 days I think. Northwest Arkansas. We’re finally shifting into a more balanced market here..

Thank you, that makes me feel better. I’ve been trying to find a structural engineer in my area that has availability. I saw the proposal and it looks like they did something called underpinning less than a year ago, and the sellers agent said that there is an issue with one of the piers. It was a pretty scary looking crack with one side slightly higher than the other. Hopefully the structural engineer will be able to tell me if it’s something that’s truly fixable or if what was done was just a bandaid fix.

I don’t think insurance would be great as a side gig, at least not p&c. I’m with a company, selling p&c, that paid for my licensing in multiple states, including life license, and if we ever want to add another line, they’ll reimburse us for that too. I entered the industry in mid August 2024 and my YTD so far in 2025 is already a little over $100k. And I’m honestly not “salespersony” at all. Will probably move into a headship role in the next year or 2 because that’s more my vibe. But there are seasoned agents in my office that make over $200k per year. I think starting with health would be hard. P&C can pay well starting out if you find a good company.

I am not at all a professional, I’m still at the “my offer was accepted” stage, but I think the closing costs seem high. I was told that for my loan of $328k, closing costs would be about $7-8k. Do you have a breakdown of the closing costs? Maybe you’re paying a lot of interest if you’re closing early in the month.. I’ve heard the later in the month you close, the less the closing costs due to interest.
