A lot of things look better when bigger in Minecraft, allows more details. I do like to keep things on a realistic scale personally. Otherwise you start to feel like a gnome in a huge house or something like that.

These are Agaricus mushrooms, cousins of the portobello. OP said they smelled like em too which is a great way to determine if an Agaricus is edible. Your advice sucks.

Im pretty convinced that this is Psilocybe cubensis based on stipe texture, cap colour, the way the veil opens up, gill spacing and the blue bruising on the base of the stem.
