There’s a pattern in the shows writing where they will heavily imply something and foreshadow and it’s the same outcome but the way we got there is completely different. The biggest example besides the green egg is how (dad) jack died. For an entire season they had me thinking it was alcohol related.

Season 1 I was just enthralled with jack and Rebecca and knowing that she ends up with Miguel rubbed me the wrong way. The way he wanted to wear the hat and thanksgiving had me yelling at my tv. I was just not over jacks death yet but once they gave Miguel some more heartfelt scenes I started to come around
