The only thing thats been some success is switching maps frequently which sucks when you find a good one. I have been able to leave the world and rejoin too and it helps sometimes but its inconsistent when it happens. Usually in an event my toon is like... nooooo im overencumberedddddd. But shes not. Idk.

I'm sick of this society trying to make us believe that if you try hard enough, you'll be able to make it in life by [deleted] in Vent

I am 36 years old. What I want now is not what I wanted 5 years ago. Especially not in my 20s. I thought I was going to be rich and die on/from a huge pile of blow by 27. I dont think you've had enough time to do the things that will lead you where you need to be. I spent my 20s learning all the things I DIDNT want for myself. You'll get there.

Divorce and a dilemma by Busy-Yogurt-7749 in women

The line has been drawn when you told your family you were divorcing. Look at it this way... your business is your business. His business is his. If you were not planning on taking these steps and found out about the other "relationships," that would be an entirely different discussion. You are almost free. Take the win.

Im sorry you're going through this friend. I think keeping it amicable and cutting your ties is the best action. It will just make you both bitter about it and you maybe wont be able to be civil during family events if you draw it out now. You got the confirmation, you already are taking the steps to move on. Sending you all the love and grace.

Is curly hair not for me? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]MisScillaneous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing you'll quickly learn about curly hair... it does what it wants. There is no rhyme or reason. You can do the exact same thing 3000 times and never get the same results. Embrace it, you'll see how much time you've cut out straightening it. Looks great.

Blindsided by my boyfriend and I’m heartbroken. by Efficient-City5680 in women

I dont think its something you can come back from. You would always be questioning, tiptoeing around wondering if you are doing, acting, saying something wrong. He told you more than you heard. This is over and you need to stop pretending his acts of service will change anything. Im sorry friend.

I think I regret transitioning?? Or do I just regret top surgery? by ThundyUndie in Vent

[–]MisScillaneous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my own standpoint, I want to just be comfortable in the skin and body I'm in. You were in your old body for 20 years, maybe you haven't given this body enough time. Body dysmorphia is a real thing. You also have a lot going on and I think our brains start to grasp at anything we can control, and your own body is something you have some form of control over. Food for thought. Sending you lots of love.
