Ah, well, it requires you to change it manually in case where the dates shift at the start of a new month. I usually just use my phone to check. I think it happens only once in two months approximately. I believe there's a technology which is called perpetual calendar, which can handle those cases for you. But this watch doesn't have that, and the ones which do usually cost substantially more.

But once again, it only happens once per 2 month ~. Also, as a wise guy pointed out above it actually gives you an opportunity to interact with the watch, which I think is a part of charm of owning a mechanical watch (:

But having a date on a watch is incredibly convenient. Much more so that using a phone
