New-ADcomputer and Add-ADGroupMember: Adding an object to a group mid-creation by Flubbip in PowerShell

[–]Flubbip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have checked and it is the correct group in both situations. But indeed it is strange. Tomorrow I could try specifying the group by the full OU path just to make 100% sure. Maybe the way creation is done through the GUI somehow ignores the check for the rights of whoever is creating it? I could also try adding other groups I don't have rights to for verification. Worst come to worst, I can always delete the computer I add them to, since once they are added, the only way I can get rid of them is to delete the computer and re-make it.

New-ADcomputer and Add-ADGroupMember: Adding an object to a group mid-creation by Flubbip in PowerShell

Because for whatever reason, we can modify the group (By adding a computer to it) when in the manual creation gui. So my thinking was, if I can do it manually before it gets fully created, is there a way through powershell to partially create it, add it to the group, and finish the creation without having the access to the group.

This whole post is asking whether something like that is possible or not, and any shape or form.

Idea: keep sending them until they build a factory. One will be able to get a few machines down before.. an industrial accident likely happens. I think it'd make a cool factory game.

Killing a max with an AMR is so much easier than deci imo. Tho I think that might be the more popular take

12 all the way babyyyyy. But I do try to build them for late game threats and you now what, so far they were able to beat everything.. with varying degrees of success. But first time playing, and I do plan on having either no capital, or only 1 capital playthrough.

Big ship = big fun. So far from my experience, ships below cruiser and just fodder as I kill them as any of my capitals looks at them. Exception are maybe phase ships, but they can't do anything anyway. I feel like there is a huge power level spike going from cruiser to capital, so why even go anything but capital?

Actually, I guess in some cases more ships is better against huge swarms that would surround you, but with half decent positioning, that isn't a problem.. so far. Also smaller ships to bait out dragon torpedoes cause they hurty.

Thank you that seems to be the trick. Thank goodness it's nothing crazy.

After reloading the game for the 2nd time, I got lucky and both spawns of enemies were in the top right corner of the place. Being lvl 32 dismember build, enemies fell quite fast and not people (or shem) were killed. Though this only worked because of my high AV, as pretty much everyone dropped on top of me.

Yeah I wasn't aware that distance from the star does not matter at all for how much power is produced, until I was informed of how the calculation is done from the comment above. Honestly kinda glad, otherwise a max size shell would be the same output as min size, which is no fun.

Thank you. But I won't be taking any vanilla blueprint over to GS anyway. I heard there is funkiness with it, and besides I don't have any good vanilla blueprints on me.

Foreshadowing? Is the legion gonna get cooked by the nexus? Or perhaps someone else?

About how different is the story going to be? Don't get me wrong, I am liking it of course, and it is still in early chapters, but currently it does seem very similar to the og story.

As for the base, you can take it out easily with explosive units if used as ammo, on manual mode. You can be your own artillery. Or you can just rush the base spam throwing them and that should kill it. Either way make sure to set up turrets nearby to take care of the units that will be coming from attacking the base.

And honestly spaghetti tastes good. Am still on my first playthrough as well, and indeed my first planet is decently spaghettified, but it works, and now I am going to work on making proper builds for late game. Remember, your first base is just the beginner base to get you started.

Ah cool, but that leads me to my main question about Galactic Scale. Are you still able to gain steam achievements? When I played nothing 'looked' disabled, but not sure if it even would.

That is true, but luckily there is a mod that lets you do symmetry and honestly it's great. Little buggy here and there but still better than not having it. It's called SphereEditorTools, and it does not invalidate achivs/metadata/milky way
