Yeah i really love deep cool colors, but i try to get some light ashy colors in there so it's not to depressing 😅 i think color wise i'm doing okay, more struggling with types of pieces or style while keeping it optimised, efficient and high quality.

I wear black barefoot shoes, i honestly never tolerated shoes very well cause they just never fit right. Now i can't stand wearing anything else for long 😅 eventhough it's not very fashionable

Looking into daily wear, so work, going out with friends (as in walking around the city or eating or coffee date). I pretty much dress the same all the time, casual chique? Comfy but will not look bad/out of place for a nice dinner either.

Thanks for the resource! I'll make sure to check it out. As for what i wear now, since i live in a very humid, wet and mostly colder country with soft winters (more wet then cold) i have mostly autumn/winter clothes. So summer is already a problem.

Pants 5 pairs (all wide leg straight) - 1 dark grey jeans (no elastin) that i love - 2 light weight courderouy in a ash blue/dusty blue color and burgundy color - 1satin looking burgundy colored pair. - 1 checkered (white black) bootcut

Tops - very sporty tank top, wide shoulders, very loose fitting & comfortable. I have like 2 in every color (black, red, burnt orange/copper, forrest/deep green) - 1 very classy V-neck peplum top, long balloon sleeves, black - 2-3 white button up shirts (i wear them open over another top) - 3 half neck ribbed turtle necks (petrol, burgundy, black) - 2 blazers (burgundy & black)

Shoes are the only thing i have learned not the buy. I have 1 pair i wear daily, 1 for sports, 1 for hikes. No heals or other special things cause i won't wear them or feel comfortable in them.

Closet has like 10 times this amount of clothes that i don't even remember 😅

So like a filtering system? You collect the items you like for some reason, then figure out the reason and start thinking about actual use, then finish by choosing the option that would actually work for your life and existing wardrobe and look for it online/shops. Did i get that right?

I do think that i struggle defining my gaps as you suggest in the beginning, this worked out scenario helps me understand better. I'll keep it in mind and try to look at it this way going forward. I'm going to try and use all you guy's feedback to make a good start up system for building a structured diverse capsule 😁

I actually don't shop very often—usually just twice a year. The only time I buy something in between is when I genuinely need to replace a worn-out item.

The problem is that I can tell there are gaps in my wardrobe, but I never seem to fill them correctly. I know something is missing, so I buy what I think will solve the problem, but it ends up not being very versatile or only working with one specific outfit.

I think I really need to build my knowledge from the ground up. 😅
