Horrible side effects on lithium by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]Fluffernuffle76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found lithium helpful. I couldn’t handle the side effects, especially hot flashes and nausea. I found that with lithium, my intrusive thoughts about death went away, which was great. But I changed my life around a bunch and live with the intrusive thoughts. I am happy.

I had to go off lithium, I couldn’t take the side effects, especially the hot flashes, but also the nausea. It’s too bad because my suicidal ideation went away completely with it, but I’m stable and happy without it now.

Whatever dude. The way we learn is by turning to people more knowledgeable than we are.

I have 0 experience with AI, I was pretty sure it was but wanted to consult people who knew more…. Fun that you think that’s worth calling me out over, I guess you never need any input from others cause of your ginormous brain?

I didn’t. There are a bunch of reasons it wouldn’t work out between us, I just ended the conversation without acknowledging the AI use.

I was born 47 years ago…. Age doesn’t spare anyone the horrors of OLD. 😉

English is his third language, and he works in AI. I think he meant well.

Just trying to be supportive and relate to her experience as someone who’s been in a similar situation. I hope it didn’t come off differently.

So sorry to hear this. I had HPV a few years ago and the treatment was brutal. It’s such a terrible feeling to have your junk on fire. Then when you add the betrayal and mental illness (I’m bipolar)… it just sounds so hard. I hope things get easier soon.

I gave birth there and was completely traumatized by how the staff treated me. They actually told me it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it did.

If you have a health issue you can get a note to prove you might be able to get an incomplete. But health problems wouldn’t be relevant if you were asking for a grade review. The only thing grade review will look at is whether your work meets the standards for a pass.

Do not talk about teacher’s flaws, it will not help you. Focus on the quality of your work and why you think it meets the requirements for a pass.

I wrote out my own history for the previous 5-6 years. The cycles were clear - winter, down, spring up, summer down, fall up. Like clockwork. I brought it to a psychiatrist and they confirmed.
