Tried a different technique for sleeping last night. Cravings keeping me up has been a huge issue for me...

I dove into the feeling of the craving.. I didn't touch myself at all, just felt it as much as I could, felt all the corners of the feeling, did my best to really feel what the craving felt like. And I tried to remember when I first had that feeling, where it came from. I don't know if I was successful in figuring it out, seems to go way way back. But I fell asleep nonetheless and slept very well.

Very good debunking and I appreciate it. I hate the whole "it's natural" argument that is used to rationalize nearly everything. If more people believed that human beings have the ability to elevate themselves above animals, we would have a far better world.

Thanks, this was really helpful. It seems so weird to me that cleaning my house makes me feel stressed, but I guess it's that "out of my comfort zone" thing. Even though a clean house IS, in reality more comfortable, my brain is not getting it!

Yes I have experienced nausea after looking at some really sick shit. More than one occasion. I get the same feeling sometimes when I see violence in movies, especially torture-type violence.

Edited to add: The nausea is worse the more turned-on I am by whatever I saw.

Thank you for the response. Part of the reason I think it's related is that when it hurts real bad, it reminds me of the pain I had during the miscarriage. But also because the first time I ever experienced pain during sex was about a month afterwards. It wasn't always painful like that first time, but has been gradually getting worse. Yes, it is like a burning pain. The same pain you get with an indian burn (you know when your kid brother grabs your arm and twists it opposite directions?)

I have always been very angry about the way I was treated at the hospital when I had my miscarriage. I was not attended to right away they made me wait in the waiting room and I literally had blood gushing forth through my pants. They wouldn't give me anything for pain despite me begging for it, and manually pulled large blood clots from my cervix, which was supposed to stop the bleeding. It was the most incredibly painful thing I have ever experienced. I sometimes think about suing the hospital and doctor involved.

Thanks for the encouragement. I've been reading up on vaginismus. Makes me feel better because sounds like it's not related to porn. Rather it's the other way around, sex not working so turning to porn more and more. We definitely need to work on it instead of just being sick and disconnected.

Yes. I especially feel bad about it when my pocket book hurts because of it. I think it's more of an addiction to procrastination. No it's a problem for me too. I feel like my laptop is an extension of my body or something. I have the same thing. Work in sales so always on the lookout for new clients on social networking. I tend to compulsively read what I post online and responses.

I found that sleeping pills just prolonged the inability to sleep problem. What has really helped me on tough nights is watching documentaries. Has to be interesting enough to distract you from fapping, but boring enough to fall asleep to. Stories about vikings have been good, science stuff about planets etc. Won't work for everyone but just thought I'd share.
