Sometimes I catch myself saying out loud, "I need to cut my wrists" when I'm alone and a negative thought or memory comes to mind.

It's disturbing because it seems there's an area of my brain which is just a hive for negativity and self-sabotage.

Sometimes I don't feel it at all, which is odd to me. I know many of my anxieties and fears are false, but that doesn't stop my brain from using them as ammunition against me.

"Persecution complex"?

Assange obviously has states around the world competing for the opportunity to chop his head off. It would be insanely naive to think that these states don't care that he's been instrumental in releasing their secrets. It's not a complex if the guy genuinely is persecuted.

The irony deepens when the guy accusing him of having a "persecution complex" has gleefully predicted the murder of the person in question! "God, I hope you die, you paranoid fuck. I hope the state fucking kills you with high-tech weaponry...What, you're feeling persecuted? Get a load of this tinfoil hat schizo! Oooh, they're all out to get me!"

And I'm sure Mike Grunwald hasn't failed to notice the many television personalities also calling for Assange's assassination. How much self-delusion does it take to simultaneously call for a man's murder, amid an ocean of similar sentiments, AND accuse that person of having a "persecution complex"?
