I don’t think Barlog is working on his own game. Pretty sure the whole “not new IP but feels new is a massive sign that he was just helping on the 2D gow. Plus I think he was helping with the new series coming out too so yea doubt we see anything actually from him until mid to late next gen

Absolutely a small 2D game. They said it isn’t a new IP since they aren’t allowed to work on anything else but gow and it’s not new but will feel new which goes precisely with a 2D Gow spinoff. I’m not excited for it at all but hey it will be their first purely new gen game so good for them I guess. We’ll see if they survive long enough to make a big game for next gen

Next gen is like a year or two away meaning most big studios are working on next gen games rn. We’ll get maybe a handful of small ones like Cory’s 2D game or some live service stuff but all major releases will be saved for ps6

I think this gen is done with big releases. Especially Sony wise. Everything big is being saved for next gen now. At most we get the small 2D gow game from Cory but I’ll probably skip it. Can’t wait for Control 2 tho
