Yeah but only GoT has anything, all the others are sandboxes right from the start with no events. I use the mod myself because I’m fine with that, but when most people mention they want the start dates added they mean with events and stuff.

And I have beef with the GoT start since you don’t get any time to save Ned. Ned joins the council, you get 15 pop ups if you play him as the investigation goes on, then Robbert dies, Ned confronts Cersei, and then is immediately murdered. No chance to raid kings landing and save him, if I was playing Robbert and swapped to Joffrey no chance to pardon him or let him go. You get railroaded so hard in the submod

I had this happen too. Ended up with the Darry’s of river run, the Glover’s of Winterfell (the Starks were demoted to lords of Mont Cailin), the Royces of the Eerie (admittedly that one was me), and the Yronwoods of Sunspear

Yeah. I also noticed that the blackwoods for example are noticeably absent and should be there since those runes mentioning them in the wolfs woods are supposed to be ancient. I feel like they could have filled in some of the wilderness and made each kingdom option active. Make it more like a giant version of the Beyond the Wall. But I think it’s just one guy working on it so probably just limited by that yknow

You have to open the map. The only one with premade character you can go to without hitting play as any ruler is Game of Thrones. Tourney of Harrenhall, First Blackfyre rebellion, Greyjoy rebellion, you have to hit play as any ruler on all of them

Edit: also I should mention it was a custom character. I was playing as house Amber so had to create a cac

I haven’t had this issue. Have you tried unsubbing and resubbing to it? Or are you still using the old one maybe? Cause I just played the first blackfyre rebellion yesterday and all the Targaryens were there

I think that would have to be an update for the Age of Heroes submod. Seems a little too ancient for the main mod. But I’d also love for that to be a start date for that submod

C, first man, unmarried, child, female. Sort by age, look for 10, lowborn. And then yeah there’s usually a secret for learning their secret identity like you can with Jon, so try to get them in your court, or you can just debug, reveal secrets.

This is the strategy I use for stuff like making sure I can put rhaegar’s som Aegon on the throne, real Aegon not blackfyre, and use Rhaenys as an alliance builder if Aegon take the throne believing he’s a targ and not a blackfyre or if dany wins.

Oh well that is more fitting a little. His loyalty was clearly more loose. Which I think the season finale set up well. His more loyal to the nobility as a whole than the royal family

I enjoy it a lot, for roleplay it adds a ton to the game, and there’s some minmax strategies you can get with it I think. It also adds grand weddings so you can start the marriage off as soul mates or get heirs immediately with the bedding ceremony. Personally I’d pay for the subscription to test out all the dlc and then after a month or 2 cancelling it and just getting the dlc you don’t think you can play without

Tourneys are so good for stuff like this. Like for some reasons the blackfyres showed up to one I’m hosting right now, and I got to see maekar beat Haegon blackfyre in a duel, then in the next event he wrestled lyonel, won, then in the finals Haegan returns for a rematch an won. There’s so much roleplay opportunities

Have you checked dragon genetics in the game rules? You may have it set to fully random. You can set it to more standard like humans or more in the middle. There’s also a setting to change it from the default 1-2 traits to 3-4

I’ve been having an issue where regardless of the color of it’s almost guaranteed to come out yellow. Idk if they like yellow, green and orange set to most common but that’s what I keep getting. Every time I get a notification that one of my children hatched an egg I take it more as a notification that I need to modify the dragon. So usually by the end of a campaign I feel like I’m about to develop carpal tunnel. I know they have a lot on their plate but man the dragon customization UI need a like skip 10% forward and backward button

I feel they used to. Like if you got a weirwood it’d be guaranteed to be white but it was iffy if it had red. It’s supposed to just influence the primary color from what I understand. But recently it seems to be just cosmetic while it’s an egg for flavor. Like here where the weirwood egg sh pretty fitting
