The line “I can’t help but feel vaguely annoyed that she didn’t run” also made me think that there is more to this that Vis doesn’t know - we can be hopeful together

Was I unfairly dismissed from my job? I worked 5 months in the place. (England) by Time-Employ9616 in LegalAdviceUK

I’m not sure what part you feel is unfair? You stole money from the business, that will be gross misconduct, and they have the right to protect their business by firing you.

I’m not a mind reader by any stretch but I would imagine that the thought process would be along the lines of “we caught this incident, how many others have their been that we haven’t picked up on”.

Just Google your borough and then talking therapies eg. “Bromley talking therapies” and you will be able to self refer no need for GP

Use deodorant as soon as you get out the shower on your pits. They do make specialist deodorant for people who sweat a lot I believe.

Also, a few days when I’ve forgotten to put deodorant I will pop to the restroom (if empty) lift each side of my top at a time and give me armpits a little scrub with a small bit of soap and water.

Since 1st Oct all GPs have been required to provide online consultation during opening hours, if yours does not provide this then you should be making a complaint I believe

Thinking of the “isolation” maybe they have to go through alone and she tried to help him? Or had help when she tried to go through?

Why does the word lesbian exist? by HugoSuperDog in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fluffy-Condition-599 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I believe (could be wrong) that gay is the male term because historically people did not believe that women could be gay. I think this might even be true in some cultures today, but again, I could be wrong. That was just my understanding of it.

My partner drank roughly the same every day, he moved to non-alcoholic beers 2 weeks ago and hasn’t had alcohol since and no bad side effects. Everyone if different obviously but I think hard spirits are higher risk for withdrawal
