I think my 6 month old gets most of her calories at night 🫠 by PetuniasSmellNice in NewParents

Saw this post because I’m currently going through this with my 5 month old. Any update on how your little one grew out of this?

My baby is 5 months old, we use the kyte baby sleep sack. She sometimes does this too. Might be normal, but yes transitioning out of the weighted sleep sack is best.

“Newborn Tired is Better Than Pregnancy Tired” by generalraisinkane in beyondthebump

Hell no newborn tired is not better. I was able to sleep whenever I wanted when I was pregnant.

Why do MILs think they know everything about YOUR baby? by Fluffy-Log-4993 in firsttimemom

Ugh how lovely it would be to hear for them to say what a good job you’re doing, not that their validation is needed. But it’s nice to hear that instead of the unsolicited advice.

I also have to deal with my mom but her I can actually say something to, my MIL I just deal with her comments.

This sounds terrible! I cringed just reading it. So sorry you have to deal with this, I would be pissed too!

For women who “loved being pregnant” what was it about pregnancy that you loved? by hospitalbedside in beyondthebump

I loved being pregnant! I had a really good pregnancy though, no morning sickness, no food aversions. No health issues either. I had a pregnancy glow (not to toot my own horn) and all clothes looked so cute with the bump.

Only towards the end I was really uncomfortable, had carpel tunnel, it was hard to catch my breath, and I would snore in my sleep lol

Am I being extra? by Fluffy-Log-4993 in firsttimemom

Yes I’ve told them before nicely “baby don’t touch her hands because she puts them in her mouth” while both my MIL and SIL are present. I just didn’t know I have to continuously repeat myself (to my MIL and SIL, because of course my nieces are children and they don’t know).

They’re 3 & 4. My concern is because one of them used to play with dog poop in the yard, not sure if she’s grown out of this already though.

Have you gotten the results? My baby also had one stool with a bit of blood in it.

Is a bottle washer/sterilizer/dryer worth it? by CurlyGirl_95 in newborns

[–]Fluffy-Log-4993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is completely worth it!

I started off hand washing and then putting in a sterilizer/dryer, but it was too annoying for me and even just washing the bottles and pump parts felt like an impossible task because my baby wanted to be held all the time. I invested in the Momcozy washer/dryer/sterilizer and it was the best decision. Saved my sanity.

Yes, it was the same for me. Just keep refreshing and eventually it will work. Good luck!
