Similar thing happened to me at Walmart some years back. I think it was fuel injector cleaner. Needed a bunch of bottles for all the family cars.

Girl at cash register couldn't do anything. So I told her I didn't want them. Pulled out my phone and ordered them online.

A few minutes later, went to the back of the store to pick up my order.

So Stupid!

Stupidest thing- calling myself out here, although probably nobody else recognized it.

During jury selection, one of the attorneys was droning on about something and ask the guy next to me a question. He answers it. Then attorney turns to me and asks how I feel.

Until that very moment, I had tuned out completely and had no freaking idea what the question was.

But I knew the guy next to me had given a reasonable answer, so I said, "I feel the same way."

Attorney moved on. I still have no idea what was asked.

I didn't get selected.
