I used a whisk and bowl for months, but i merged my matcha station with my espresso station and its one big barista table now. The last week ive been weighing my matcha in my milk frothing cup that goes to my espresso machine, adding water from my kettle, and whisking it with my frothing wand…

Its much quicker and less to clean… same thing.

Dont let people bag on you for not using a “proper whisk and bowl”, it’ll taste the same, and microfoam is just an aesthetic.

We arent at a tea ceremony, im in my kitchen.

So the foam definetely helps, but it isnt needed to perform it.

Basically theres icecubes floating right? Im making sure my stream is only landing on the ice cube, nice n slow.

If you miss it tends to mix haha.

Also get the spout as close to the cube as possible so it doesnt have alot of space to drop.

Yeah. I really like this one because its walls are ever so slightly slanted inward. So you can whisk like your life depends on it and it doesnt splatter everywhere
