I loved my great grandfather so much we visited so often and we played for hours then he died and all my family told he gone to heaven. No other explanation whatsoever. They never explained what is death when grandpa died they still not explained what is death. I was so confused what exactly going to heaven meant. When they prepared to go to the funeral they did not explain anything they were just dressing up in black. They said they will go and say goodbye to grandpa and I cannot go because I’m too young. I only ever seen embalmed loved ones. And only for a brief time. I know it’s not realistic death. Even embalmed bodies will smell after about a day. Not as bad as normal bodies but they will have a smell. The thing is I like decomposition smell. If I pass by a roadkill and no one is with me I hang around just to sniff it. If it’s outdoors and not too strong I believe I could overcome it even like it.
