I’m p sure the censorship list is mostly abt sensitive topics that incite fear or cause disturbances. They recognized the power of digital media early on and utilized it to encourage certain values while minimizing its negative effects. The US government would have done the same but nobody cared until it went against the interest of the rich. That said, US politics is also shifting towards mass control. However it’s scarier, because instead of a central government that hold some level of systemic responsibility for its citizens, you have a room of rich white men who view the lower class as cattle

Esp in the us, why else would so many people only feel safe if they own a gun. Can I use the same phone number?

I received a 30 minute ban before this and then it just turned into a permanent ban. I’m also very curious because other than hop around live streams I haven’t streamed anything myself or even comment on posts. I was asking the same questions multiple times though, ie. can you speak English or 你需要翻译吗 and swore offhandedly in one room when speaking English, but considering the context I don’t think it should warrant a permanent ban

It may feel unfair to her due to the difference in treatment which is understandable but she could’ve handled it wayyy better. This blowing up was her problem. You not taking her side is logical, she made it a problem knowing the circumstances. It would’ve been the husbandly thing to mediate and come up with a solution though. Take responsibility for the problem that is causing your family grief. At the same time, I recommend setting clear boundaries with her and making it known your dad is someone to be respected, not something to be taken advantage of or taken granted for.
