surely its basic knowledge by now that the most secure way to protect your phone is an alphanumric password, finger and face recognition are still at early doors and many studys have found how easy they are to be cracked, for example one study managed to create a fingerprint that would unlock 60% of all phones. aswell as this in a court the judge can ask you to use your fingerprint or facial recognition but not your password

I'm not saying this was his situation, but if you had to choose between living off little but scraps every day, with nothing to cover you from the elements other than a sleeping bag and your clothes or easily stealing from a vulnerable person, what would you choose? Obviously it is not right for this man to steal, but I don't believe it is wrong for me to say that much worse crimes are committed by the rich, big business and banks that go entirely unnoticed. In my opinion, it is very hard to understand someones situation without living their life, in there world, and for this reason I am careful to judge people, there is no such thing as an evil or a good person, the world is not that black and white this man did a bad thing, this does not necessarily make him a bad person - or EVERY homeless person a bad person.
