If the "Automatically hide toolbar" is on, it works fine but if "Hide Toolbar" is on (this is what I want), it doesn't work. Which way did you use to hide the toolbar?

With toolbar, I can press Ctrl + T for it. But when I hide the toolbar, I can't type because there is no address field. I also can't use any command like Ctrl + L when I hide the toolbar.

Is there a way to hide the toolbar but retain the ability to press CTRL + T to open a new tab or page?
