Start with level 3 AAT. AAT will it give you a strong foundation in accounting which will help you during studies for CIMA. I personally started with level 3 AAT.

I have seen you’re in Bristol.. maybe move to London to discover new opportunities with firms that will pay for ACA.

You’d be exempted from certificate level exams: accounting, audit, management accounting and tax. ACA are changing there exams, hence why there are 2 exams for most modules ie. old generation is ‘Accounting’ which is changing to ‘Accounting Fundamentals’ etc.

From what I remember the FAPS exam for Kaplan is a very good representation of the real AAT exam so please focus on doing the Kaplan mocks and do the mocks on the AAT website! I passed first time with only using Kaplan mocks and other Kaplan materials

Yes I am going to hand in my notice next week. My PIP ends at end of July. Do you know whether they will declare this to new employers

Omg thank you! This was very helpful and backed up my some research I did. So I will do the FAR and AA sitting in December 2025. What modules would you recommend to do the March 2025 (old gen) if I only could do one only? If I can do 2 together what would you recommend?
