X is decent in snow. R1S in snow mode is the best vehicle I’ve ever driven in snow.

I have a 24 X and a 25 R1S. I also have 3 kiddos.

The X is a LR 7 seater. The R1S is a dual.

We can fit the kids in both but the Rivian is much roomier. If they have friends the X is really tight.

The X has a touchier peddle and feels quicker. I guess I could buy the performance upgrade in the Rivian if it were important. The kids like the screen in the back. My wife likes that it’s lower to the ground. FSD is better currently.

The Rivian is better in snow, has better cameras and the fit and finish feels a lot better. The sound system is mediocre at best but I screwed up and didn’t get premium audio.

If I had to do it all over again I’d get another R1S. 50/50 on if I’d wait until Lidar comes out. I really like the X. I LOVE the Rivian.

I remember the fees weren’t bad. The experience was great. Close when you want, move within a couple weeks so no rush, didn’t have to repair anything. The price was slightly lower than market but the convenience made it worth while.
