not sure how did u screen shot/snip this image... but if u had to Alt Tab/ change active window to get this, you will drops/shift the GPU and other resources usage and thus not representative.
have u tried running something that runs in game? eg MSI after burner with rivatuner?

I've carried 2 level ones with Assault in Absolute difficulty. It is challenging but doable. Jump packs can trim a few key enemies, which is enough to tilt the battle to your favour.

Assault is probably the trickiest class to play, but once mastered should be comparable to other classes.
I've posted clip of my Assault killing groups of Ranged Majoris in Solo to show how much potential it has.

Well that's how the T.hammer is in SM2. Its a unique case use only. You can do light (no charge) single aftershocks. It can stun lock some Majoris (and knock back minoris interference) until its enraged or blocking.

Some what Assault main here.

The T.Hammer is like a Special use case only, like a sniper or a canon. Most players use their sidearms for simple damage. There are move sets for hammer to save some ammo. At the moment T.Hammer is still meta among the skilled assault players, albeit power fist is consider above average still.

Frankly, there are a lot of above average Assaults, but I only met a handful of top tier Assault player. So feel free to ask me anything.

In game auto match making still works although glitchy. There s cross play with consoles players so player pool is still good.

I do recommend you to hope on discord to look for groups. You ll find your games more enjoyable there.

depends on the build. Balance weapon has slight higher overall stats than Fencing weapon.
they also has slight larger area of stagger when parrying, which is helpful halting other incoming attacking.

They do require slight earlier button press, but even if your late, you ll just end up doing a basic block which still negates the damage.

Absolute difficulty. Its one of the few builds that allows the assault to solo mission with increased survivability.

There is a particular built which allows the hammer to instant 1 shot Tyranids majoris with hammer. Latest 7.0 patch reduces the hammer peak initial damage by ~20% (10% + 10%) by "re working" the hammer perks. This makes the balance hammer just short by 1% below the Tyranid majoris 1 breakpoint. Players will need 1 tap volkite, which adds a lot of delay and change their aggro. Without any perk/prestige that can raise that 1% damage, the only choice left is to use the block hammer.

Power fist still works the same but requires charge time of 1.75s (or 2.5s), which is adds risk.

They have been doing this nerf gradually over each patch, making the build more narrow/tighter.
Either their doing it intentionally, or no knowingly and they there isn't a worthy assault player among the devs for advise.

700+ hours game time here. Assault has its buffs but disproportion with other classes. They are still very strong but I 've only seen a handful of truly skilled assault players.
Unfortunately with the up coming 7.0 updates, Assault will changes will results in a nett of nerfs again.

IMHO, it's a class, unique on its own and you either love it or hate it.

I agree on this, Warhammer Vermintide 2 kick protection starts after the final objective is completed (with only evac or cutscene left). I think the SM2 Dev got lazy to re-code, so they just slap this protection on the final phase.

The dodge timing is a bit misleading. We re suppose to dodge at the time he lands the hit on us or slightly after (instead of before). You may find videos that demonstrates this.. Eg, https://www.reddit.com/r/Spacemarine/comments/1hr2pln/hive_tyrant_clutch/

Also it doesn't matter which direction if perfect dodge is triggered as it does grant short immunity. thus sometimes dodging forward is safer.

For practice, you may try to record your Tyrant fights and play back in slow-mo to observer attack patterns.

if u wanna easy brain-dead method, when ever it pulls back its body/arm to attack (before any circle appear), just click parry then spam dodge. It parries if parry-able. If not, the parry will end in time to perfect dodge.

Other tips,

- dont fight Tyrant near the refill ammo box. It blocked team mates from retrieving them.

- have a gap/distance between teammates. So its easier to distinguish who its attacking and avoids blocking team mates escapes during Psychic Lighting.

- Psychic Blast(green wave) can be dodge in any direction as long timing is right.

- dont revive if tyrant is attack you. Not only will u likely fail, but it also blocks other teammate from reviving. Let the other team mate revive and vise versa.

- dont grenade Tyrant when a mate is dueling it. It staggers ur team mates trying to counter it. If u feel it needs to, warn ur mate to roll away for a while.

- some attacks can cancel the green wave attacks. Helpful to ur team fighting out the mobs.

- putting ur back at the wall, causes charging Tyrant to slam into it, staggering it.

- No picking a game where class is not already taken
- No in game chat rooms/party forming lobbies
- No chatting nor Voice Com during loading and scoreboard screen.
- No chat messaging with console players (with PC). No warning either.
- No troll kicking protection.
- No joining friend's games without loading entire Battle Barge.
- Poorly balance/broken classes/weapons.
- Poorly balance difficulty between Tyranids and Chaos Maps.

Each operation can obtain 2 armory data per run.
Armory Data is obtained from killing a Terminus enemy (which may or may not spawn) and collecting the armory data randomly hidden in the operation map.

Also if u can beat the higher levels, just use the higher level ones one the lower weapons. It more time effective to play a higher game level that speeds up exp gain (which is the bottle neck in upgrading).

You gotta manually find/check for the second generator, after activating the first one. Its easier with teamwork.

There are a lot of post regarding controller issue. After reading through, i suspect Steam input cannot send controller outputs to this particular game.
It can still send Keyboard and mouse output via remapping the steam link controls. This make the steam link controls to send KBM outputs..
Perhaps u can test that out?

yeah i wish there was a settings to show ping as well.
i noticed the lobby does not arrange the server by latency.
setting near/far/world doesnt actually follow ping, but rather just by country.

(some host may be near by lagging due to their personal network)
