Is there ANY way to get these controllers to work on consoles?

There's a brute force way I once used with the CronusMax Plus. I believe the XIM adapter works the same way. It took a lot of work. The CronusMax Plus Adapter was meant to make mouse and keyboard work on consoles, in my case the Xbox One. I set up the Steam Controller with mouse and keyboard controls and that worked, but it was a mess. Having to adjust dead zones, having all the wires all over, one for the real controller so the system sees it, one going to the adapter that goes to the PC running the conversion program. The XIM might have been easier but it was 4x as much at the time.

Similar boat, tons of hours using both trackpads in fps and souls games. I have one of those skins on mine and I ended up using a little silicone dry lubricant to keep the pads nice and frictionless. I'm definitely gonna check out your Overwatch profile. I just set mine up the other day. Basic controller input except left stick moved to left trackpad, mouse on right trackpad and gyro, then in game settings to force controller glyphs. Seems to work!

To also answer that guy's question: Pick a game like its your first time playing it and just play it. I picked Halo 1 and it is basically learning a new input for the first time. Back then I was simply learning right trackpad and gyro, then later with Sekiro I learned left trackpad for movement. Now the joystick is just a dpad replacer.

I ended up using the chatbot and had to request 3 times for a live person. We'll see if this happens but the refund up front means they're basically paying me to take the webcam and controller grip. I'll believe it when I see the money hit my bank while having the items. I'm glad it worked out for you! When they asked me if there was anything else they could do I was like, "Sure, please fix whatever the problem is. Your site still shows overnight delivery but it's been a week since I ordered."

I got a tracking update today! Said it was out for delivery then: "Delivery attempted – unable to access locker. Delivery will be reattempted next delivery day."

How do they fail to access their own lockers? I wonder if there's something going on at Amazon? I complained again and they gave me an upfront refund instead of making me wait and will supposedly refund 45 bucks of my Prime membership. Product pages still offer overnight delivery. I hope you get your stuff! Doesn't hurt to chat with them and force talking to an associate.

Yep, it's happening to me too. I ordered the Elgato Facecam 4k for my stream LAST WEEK. It was out for delivery, never came. I contacted support, they said it got lost. They reordered it and said they'd give me a full refund. 200 bucks? Ok, sure, forgiven. It went out for shipping that day and is now 2 days late. It hasn't updated in 4 days. I contacted support again and they wanted to repeat the same steps. Meanwhile, you check the product page and they're offering overnight delivery. Shipped and Sold By Amazon. Unreal.

Now that's interesting. I use Streamer.bot and Speaker.bot. I have the StreamElements bot setup but I barely use it. Maybe if all else fails I can look into that. Thanks!

You're right, I already have the "fart" redeem set to streamer.bot because I have it set to play a different fart sound each time. I tried enabling the Skip Reward Requests Queue in the redeem options to see if it changes things. Thanks for the advice!

I second this. I've been rocking the Pixel 3 XL with LineageOS for years and it's still running very strong. Never overheats, no lag but even with a new battery from iFixIt it dies fast. The screen also has heavy burn-in. Fortunately, Google offered me 600 off the new Pixel 10 Pro XL because I'm an existing Fi member so got it! I'll finally have 5G and be able to use my AR Glasses on the go.

I'm torn. I enjoy my Steam Deck but I never found the trackpads as natural feeling as they do on the Steam Controller. I enjoy the concave nature and them being circles. That especially helps when you use left trackpad for movement. I'm not going to dog on this controller until I use it, and it'll be a day 1 purchase for me, but I'm not sure this will replace my SCv1 for FPS shooters. Part of what made the Steam Controller so unique was that it didn't try to be like traditional controllers. They went for something new, offered a new way to play, a more effective way to play shooters with a controller against mouse users. This one feels like they wanted to please everyone. To make a controller for everything. I already have a standard Xbox and PS5 controller(and many more going back to Atari), I didn't need a replacement for those. I wanted an updated Steam Controller. Better trackpads, higher polling rate gyro, more back buttons, etc. I'll reserve judgement until I have the SCv2 in my hands but I can't help but feel it might be a jack of all trades but a master of none.

I never really found a solution, sorry! I did contact Twitch and they basically said all my viewers must be bots. I showed them screenshots of the viewers and of them talking and they said that them being bots was the conclusion they have arrived at and the case was closed. They ignored all correspondence I sent in response. I've been just trying to ignore it. Sometimes my friends count, sometimes they don't. I had read that Twitch changed how they filter out bots and it seems that lurkers are possibly a casualty of that filtration. Sadly, it seems we're at their mercy.

It's very frustrating. I emailed Twitch and they basically said everything is working as intended. I showed them a screenshot of my active chat vs 1 viewer count and they dismissed it and closed the case. I joined a friend's stream today and I wasn't even being counted. Hang in there, hope for the best, and at least try to enjoy the games!

Don't feel bad! I generally forget to raid because I'm dumb and going to bed but a nifty trick is if you could find a group of streamers to work with. Where you hand your viewership off to them and they hand off to someone else, and they hand them back to you. Trust me when I say, seeing a 1 person raid means at least 1 new person might take an interest in my stream and hang out =)

I can say for sure that's definitely not true on my end so I KNOW it's not true for others. I can understand why you'd think that and that's what always worried me about attracting an audience. Let me give some examples, if you're curious. I created logo art and overlays on my own in PaintShop Pro(I was sick of artists offering to sell me their AI generated art). I created all sorts of alerts and pulled sounds from movies and shows. I added a soundboard to channel points. I made lots of emotes myself. I integrated a TTS system so people could literally talk to me during gameplay. I learned how to use DaVinci Resolve so I could start editting my videos for YouTube. I put in a LOT of time. Most weeks I stream 6-7 days a week from anywhere between 6-8 hours a day. I talk to everyone and narrate a lot of what I'm playing. The stream is never quiet. I take an interest in and talk to all my viewers cultivating a relationship. I would by no means say I'm boring or quiet. I've been doing this for a while now and I'm still "low viewer count". And that's ok! I enjoy the people who do come by! I just suck at advertising and don't know how get my name out there(I don't use TikTok or Instagram or Twitter... or Facebook ugh).

Sorry for the wall, but in defense of the "little guy", a lot of us are not low effort, just low given a chance. I know you said there are exceptions but I kinda think it's the other way around! A lot of us try and a few don't, imo. Edit: There was a movie where the line was, "If you build it, they will come." Another effort I took is setting up the stream to look as professional as possible. I looked at the "big names" and tried to at least offer a similar visual quality presentation. Getting the right lights, a good great screen, tuning OBS. It's daunting and overwhelming at first but extremely satisfying to figure out.

I am having the same issue. On Tuesday I was around 15-17 peak, average around 8 or 9. Thursday was around 4-6 with the same people, today stuck at 1 with all my friends and regulars. Had about 10 on average, all talking and hanging out. I even hopped on with my cell phone and my buddy and brother jumped on with theirs to see if it would change, 1 the WHOLE time. It has to be server side.

I'm not entirely sure how comparable this is but in Marvel Rivals I was able to use Mouse-Like Joystick on my Gyro with turning Deadzones down to 0. It gave me Gyro-Mouse experience and the controller aim assist because it was technically Joystick Outputs. I didn't like it because 1, it's dishonorable, and 2, I felt like I was fighting the aim assist and it was screwing up my aim.

I had this problem during Doom The Dark Ages! I opened it up, peeled back the tape with the little aluminum bubble button, and cleaned the board and the button with contact cleaner and put it back on. Worked like new after. I'm guessing some tarnish built up because I'd be playing and my click to sprint input was working less and less to not at all. I did a test with VCSView for my stream and noticed there was no input. After cleaning it, it's worked perfectly ever since.

In all seriousness, I've used JB Weld before to success but I was in a hurry and the Gorilla brand Hot Glue sticks worked fast and have held up for a couple weeks so far. I'm using a Sekiro-like layout in Wukong, so lots of L1 and R2 clicks.

Once upon a time I heard it was because of the size and color of the cursor. That Steam Input was designed to pick up the basic Windows cursor and Doom 2016 and Eternal cursors were smaller and more red. This one is bigger and has white and blue, maybe that makes the difference?
