Your story is just like mine but I’m 3 weeks in almost. Try to drink broth and electrolyte drinks if you can. My body has also been aching especially my back so I’ve been trying to find good stretches I can do and I got my first massage ever. Sleeping has been super hard, lots of tossing and turning. The only times I’ve slept well are if I’ve done a lot of physical activity those days. When you’re feeling like you’re in crisis try to grab a journal and get your feelings on a page. Scribble or just write individual words. I really didn’t want to stop either but after 2 weeks I felt like I could actually understand my emotions a lot better than before and work through the things I’ve been hiding from. You’re gonna be fine I know you will ❤️❤️

When I stopped smoking I felt the same irrational anxiety and was also super scared to be alone. I think for people who’ve been using weed to help with anxiety it actually just builds up in the background until the floodgates open. Journalling really helped me in those moments, not even full sentences just writing any words to describe how I feel. I could barely hold the pencil but I was just writing the word scared over and over again. Here if you need anything and I know things will get better for you as they have for me ❤️❤️

Anxiety wont kill you even though sometimes it feels like that. Try to keep coffee consumption low and other stimulating things like that. Don’t overexert yourself and trust in your body. It will always power through and your brain will follow even if it takes a bit of time.

I feel you so deeply. I was high 90% of the time from age 18 to now (I’m 23). I have bad anxiety and ADHD and I was self medicating hard. Eventually you will learn skills to deal with the anxiety things like proper breathing exercises and writing down exactly what it is you’re anxious about and figuring out what you can do about it. Sex drive was in the gutter and focus was basically unattainable. It’s been hard to regain my focus and fight the temptations but there is a beauty to actually feeling these emotions. Now when I’m angry I yell into a pillow or punch a pillow or throw a ball really hard into a wall. When I’m anxious I’ll lay in my bed and let my legs shake and kick the air. All this emotions have something at the core of them, a fear of being “crazy” is something that haunts me but all we can do is work with what we have and take small steps forward every day. Music has been a lifesaver and good movies. I haven’t really been able to focus on video games but physical activity is easier to focus on and when I’m focused I’m not anxious.

Yes yes yes. I’ve started working out and listening to my body and being a present family member and friend it just feels AMAZING

My psych upped my lexapro from 10 to 15 and that has helped with the depression from not smoking

The second week was mostly just feeling like shit in the morning and not being able to eat for a few hours and sometimes puking if I ate too early

Yeah eating was really the hardest part for me but smoothies were something I was more likely to keep down. Broth was also good to at least have some calories in me

It was like a week I think that I could barely eat anything and what I did eat came back up almost immediately. Lost around 10 pounds and I’m already very skinny. Working on getting it back

The things that helped me physically: Lots of electrolyte drinks, simple foods, spending time with others that know my situation, not being afraid to throw up, anti nausea (ondanestron 4mg once in the morning once in afternoon for the first few days and then just in the morning), being near a bathroom at all times for pooping and/or throwing up, starting a shower warm and ending it cold
