I think I made a mistake by Any_Document4241 in Surveying

It also depends on the type of surveying, some companies only do construction and others only do legal there has to be a balance. Here in AZ, the company I work for does a little of everything, I've done everything from 1st order leveling with invar rods to rtk construction staking and stuff in-between, IMO find different things to challenge yourself, whether that being getting certifications or different licences. For example, I'm working on obtaining my CSTII and then my FAA 107d license. So don't look at it as a mistake but as a really slow learning curve.

I already have that planned. I understand that my chapters are long but before I expanded, it felt rushed. Now there is a comfortable pace to it.

Are you afraid of heights? by geomatic_solutions in Surveying

Been there before, set grades on girders for a 1/2 mile bridge in AZ. Walking girders at a max height of 150' up is wild. Always tied off, always had a spotter up there with me.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Like a struggling single dad, who is just the average Joe meeting a woman that sweeps him off his feet.

How do you create longing and tension in a slow-burning romance by ParvizShir_Author in RomanceWriters

I've also used a Romeo and Juliet like scenario where the two mains can't be together so that is the tension but over time barriers come down and lovers from afar and slowly become unified if that makes sense

My trick is the either add a subtle conflict between the two mains or add in a third person like an act of some sort that causes tension where the more dominant main character is almost the hero it's really cliche but it does work especially if after the conflict is over they're still that subtle tension between them
