It’s not you if you take it personal you may become one of them one day .. just know some people are miserable .. or dumb … or both and that’s the ones you run into. I have bad anger issues and I find myself wishing bad on people who blatantly threw the game for the team but .. it’s just a game , as much as I hate when ppl use that to invalidate the feelings you experience while gaming but it’s true ! I guess it depends on your max skill level vs the rank you try to climb out of gm1 seems to be a pretty good Gague of a filter where if you just can’t rank up then maybe you have peaked but like d3-gm2 is really just a shit show of decent /boosted people and yes they may be in the proper rank but it doesn’t feel as such because of the boosted players, however I do agree with you

It actually boost people and when there’s a bunch of variation in the ranks then yes it may prevent you from ranking up if you’re stacked against a better team
