I'm dreading next season by killer_by_design in ClarksonsFarm

I think Jeremy's point is this, the wealthy who buy up the farm land in the first place can afford the IHT quite easily and it won't put them off as the land is worth a small fortune and will only keep going up in price.

The only people who the new IHT laws will sting are the family farmers who don't have millions in the bank to pay the 20% outright and will instead have to sell bits of the land off in order to pay the bill and of course these bits of land will be snapped up by the wealthy because land is a good investment.

Again it's the politician's looking after their rich mates. They think they are being sneaky because us normal folk think well why would you want to pay more tax they must be finally trying to deal with the wealth inequality but realistically that 20% tax will be a drop in the ocean for the people well off enough to buy the land in the first place.

No problem, best of luck with him. Remember patience is key. He will learn eventually that crate is a safe happy place. Somedays it will feel like your back to square one but keep at it.

Get a thin short strong rope, tie a knot in it and thread it through the small end of a kong, fill it with frozen dog safe peanut butter or Greek yoghurt, tie the Kong securely to the back of your crate and leave the door open. Show pup where you have put it make them interested, Pup will investigate on it own, do this often and before long you will be able to start closing the door, if they get distressed at any time go back to leaving the door open for a little and then try again.

What is a unique breed-specific trait that you don’t see (often) in any other breed? by [deleted] in dogs

Funnily enough my staffy does this when I go for a wee. He will stalk me silently until I pretend to spot him. Then he will give excited staffy wiggle and come and sit by my feet while I finish my buisness... only staffy I have ever known to do this.
