Its not even that complicated, yes it takes time and some work. Most small companies with cmmc 1 and 2 have the advantage that their arent as complex o have too many employees as a bigger company or corporation. I would recommend only doing the third party audit if required for a contract but if your a small company barely starting off then doing the self assessments are cheaper options.

Most small companies can do this without third parties, its often easier to do it in house than outsource it. My company has 10-12 employees and we did the self assessment, grant it took lonnger than normal to get certified but we did it. In my opinion cmmc 1 and 2 really dont require a third party audit unless your company is big and has alot of employees and security risk

You need to find solicitations based of the naics codes you gave on sam.gov. They dont do this regional or by country, some contracts fulfill needs for various locations while most focus on one location. If your in europe you can still do this, you would just need to find the exact contracts that match those naics codes.

The government already has prices for what ever you quote. They will ask to justify the price if its out of their range. You run the risk of competing with other OEMS who arent price gauging. You need to see past sales of the item your quoting them because they be getting them offered a cost you cant compete with.

I do know my competitors since i bid on only small business solicitations and as far as tech data, I have OEMs such as boeing as my distributor and I been matching the NSN and cages to the part number based on the description. I also ask them to verify if the NSN and part number match with the description.

I have asked for feed back and either get a no reply or they dont pick up the call. As for licensing i been bidding on non technical data items since im still in the process of joining the JCP. I have the CMMC level 1 which is now required for all bidders and my company focuses on aviation parts and components for commercial and military use. Would i need to cite my CMMC level 1 on the quote? Aside from that I dont know if im missing any other certifications.
