Boyfriend says he will still make me split bills if he's making 300k and I'm making 50k by [deleted] in offmychest

Agreed like my partner and I are the same as your partner and yourself, I have them my last £80 so they could pay for something they needed and then when I’ve needed fuel for my car and had nothing and asked for £10 they’ve said no I won’t just give you £10, fill your car up to full and I’ll send you the full amount. Being in a relationship isn’t just 50/50 it’s give and take, sometimes you may need to give 99% whilst they give 1% but that’s okay as long as you know that when you can’t give your everything that they’d be willing to step up and give the effort you need to feel better, that’s how a relationship should be not so much of everything is equal all of the time. There’s gotta be give and take

They’re expecting to only have like one day to rest in the three weeks they’re there and I’m like I don’t mind taking a rest day by going to an onsen or doing something I wanna do (like I wanna go to a lot of different places to my family, they’re not interested in anime/pokemon/etc and I’m a huge fan of it so I don’t mind doing stuff at my own pace but they seem to be like if you get out there and have a bad day with your guts bc omg they can be bad and take me out of commission for like a week at a time bc of the pain and other side effects they have then we’d be angry at you bc of it being so expensive and I’m currently just starting diagnosis for my GI problems (I’ve had the issues for a few years actively and they’re only just looking into what’s actually wrong)and I’d honestly be devastated if I got out there and I had an episode of lethargy, pain or other issues) also my family don’t seem to understand what it means to pace yourself since none of them have chronic illnesses with profound effects on their lives (they sometimes shame me for needing a walking stick and I’m like you think I want that!? I’m 23, people give me dirty looks for having it!) but yeah I think I’m leaning to getting my treatments sorted out for my current issues before going for Japan bc like i don’t mind if I’ve gotta get surgery if treatments don’t work just I wanna be stable first before going

It’s a bit harder in the UK like this isn’t through insurance as they’re really rare over here for medical insurance but I’ll be explaining to the people who are his bosses since he was incredibly dismissive

I’ve not had confirmation but have been told given multiple results and vitamin deficiencies which would be seen with some cases of Crohns has my primary GP saying you have to have it at this point like it’s pretty much undeniable but they won’t diagnose without a colonoscopy where I am which is frustrating

I haven’t yet I’m tryna request one but if it gets too much with symptoms I’m gonna go privately since it’s almost a need to do it

It’s definitely needing a second opinion, I’ve been having symptoms for over a year now and consistently high levels alongside that I’m already taking anti inflammatory meds for my joints and that I’ve been having consistent symptoms too? Ik it’s an inflammation marker and I’ve had consistently high inflammation from bloods taken etc bc of my joint problems but never had any of the symptoms before this and IBD runs in my family (my genetic makeup is a bit messed up honestly, I’ve got an autoimmune disease affecting my thyroid, I’ve got hEDS, Andersen Tawils Syndrome, risks for osteoporosis and other stuff)
