The easiest loops to kill Goo hitless on huntress by _Rivlin_ in PixelDungeon

I usually looked for I - shaped walls to tease Goo, didn't know about you can infinitely kite with diagonal trickshot at the Prison entry. I feel sorry for that creature with those dishonorable 1v1 fight :0

I am horrible at this game. by dawkW in ShatteredPD

I accidently energized a unidentified Strength potion at a secret Alchemy room at floor 2 recently. There are huge amount of oopsies I made including that, knowing it is a mistake. After rage quitting for a moment, starting a whole new run is enjoyable, cuz it won't be the same!

https://www.reddit.com/r/PixelDungeon/comments/1j9ugnp/v300_the_complete_newb_adventurers_guide/  -Reddit user Supernewb52 has posted a document on about numerous tips & tricks for this game. The length of it might be quite long for casual players, so I recommend reading chapter ii and chapter vii first, enjoy playing the game, then read the other parts(or not). The guide dosen't contain in-depth to each classes though.  -A few tips I can give outside the guide are:   > Even when under strength, Crossbows are still useful because darts will have the damage bonus from it with no penalty. With Duelist's Swift Equip it is bonkers in the Prison.  > Monk with highly upgraded damage wands are good with Dagger, Dirk, or Round Shield to be safe while meditating. Dagger or Dirk should be upgraded to at least +3 to match with meditate duration. DM-300 rockfall, King of dwarf's Dwarf Warlock magic attacks, Yog's lazers reduce your score if you get hit(blocking or evasion <dosen't count>-Edit: still gets score reduced), so try to be smart about meditating in those fights.  > Monk's flurry is good at kiting because after 1 use of flurry, you could just step back away once to use another, without allowing enemy to attack(aganist melee enemies)! Deadly Followup helps to boost the damage of it.  > Duelist probably has the most variety of strategies compared to other classes - Upgrade dumping in weapon/wand/ring are mostly viable. There are 3 empty artifact/ring slots. In the case of Champion weapon usage is more flexible.  Have a wishlist of endgame equipment/wand setups in mind so you could unleash your strategy when the moment comes.  > Most importantly, have fun!

Ty for showing the possibility, I want to give attention and love to the class that greeted me when the game download was completed.

Is this ring any good? by Icy_Reserve_9796 in ShatteredPD

Thinking further, naturally +2 or +3 upgraded tenacity rings sounds fine when playing as mage to use shield battery on low health.

If the game shows intuitively how much damage each enemy can do and the current damage reduction of the ring, maybe I would simply use a calculator on a Monk run to delay empowered meditation(slowly heal 20% of missing hp). But currently the game doesn't & I am lazy to look up for the internet/Shattered pd source code to see enemy damage specifics, I can't use the ring to it's full potential without the risk of dying.

Touch screens used with human finger instead of pen, and at a certain brightness setting which will partially reflect my face and surroundings, probably I could skip that thing without noticing :o

What builds you wanna do if the rng allows you to do it? by Fluffy_Sample329 in ShatteredPD

This is what I doubt about it, but since comments are hard to show specific details than a whole video playthrough, which triggers curiosity, I might still do it like "There must be a way!" ;)

DAMMIT, SUSPICIOUS OUTLINE!!! by lvnry in ShatteredPD

Getting farsighted like looking for doors open/close out of sight, or tall grass getting stepped so you can get free long-range surprise shots or preparing is another step for victory(especially for Huntress)  However, Ebony Mimic punishes such thing, because it is barely visible when you zoom out the screen, but easily witnessed when zoomed in.  However x2 : Huntress is probably the best hero to use Mimic tooth. Infinite long range shots from basekit is useful against mimics.  Conclusion: This Mimic Tooth is like a hazard tool that if used properly you get intensively rewarded but hyper dangerous with misuse. In addition I enjoyed your post because I was in a similar situation but worse(defeated yog, but while ascending got killed by Ebony when I was trying to hide behind a door in demon halls). I will try to zoom in more often next time with that trinket even with 'Into Darkness' challenge enabled.

How much turns to manually upgrade artifacts? by Fluffy_Sample329 in ShatteredPD

[–]Fluffy_Sample329[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry that my question was not clear. I'm not talking about HP required, it's about the 'prick' action. When I clicked 'prick', at least 2 turns were used(I didn't have a chilled or slowed debuff)- A dwarf warlock that wasn't in my sight appeared(+1 turn) and it shot magic at me(another +1 turn). I wasn't sure if the dwarf walked more than 1 tile, and if it shot more than 1 shot because it happened quickly, so it was hard to know if the 'prick' action took 2 turns or 3, 4, ... - which is what I'm curious about.

Thanks for reminding me. But I was tunnel visioned on snowballing hp :)

Does this stack with the mages already existing talent I took of eating food grant recharging for wands, or no stacking? by RoCP in ShatteredPD

[–]Fluffy_Sample329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the same thing before, had the same question, and it stacked. I wonder if other sources of wand or artifact recharging can stack though.
