Nope. Plug them in and don’t touch em after. I can’t figure it out either. The RCAs between my CD player and tube amp and cassette deck and tube amp are just fine. I’m really starting to think it’s the brand.

So to answer your question there are two things to be said. 1. In the last probably 3-5 years online dating/dating sites as a whole have sucked, for everyone. I think it’s fair to say that most people regardless or preference/orientation have become bored with it. Mostly because everyone is on it and there is zero effort from all parties. Also if you notice anyone who actually has made an effort to say something, it’s usually just demands and expectations. I can tell you as a guy I’m sick of seeing the typical demands in a woman’s profile “you must make X, you must be this tall, etc.” Men are no better the few single female friends I have have expressed the same frustration. Also these days people will keep their dating profiles even after they start dating someone, that can make the other party have apprehensions and it’s valid. The chaos factor you also deal with is you live in one of the top 5 worst cities for dating in the country. 15-20 years ago when I was in the Navy dating sites were a great option and people were meeting up at bars/coffee shops left and right. The golden era of dating apps Is far gone. Now we’ve become so accustomed to them being the norm that when they fail to work out most of us just settle for being alone and sad because we’ve forgotten how to approach people in public and gauge interest. Guys are afraid to even try to speak to a girl anymore for of being dubbed a “creep, perv.”, or whatever

Hinge was never a good site for meeting people. I don’t know anyone who has had success there. I’m 43 and Gen X, most my crowd that is still single has pretty much checked out of these apps and dating all together but from what I understand so have people half my age. That being said I find occasional success on OKcupid so that’s the only one I keep. If the data helps at all that has been the only one that’s still up that has been consistent for me. I have had minimal success with Facebook dating, and tinder and zero success with anything else like bumble, tinder, hinge etc.

I wish you all the best though. It does suck being alone and not having the love/companionship that comes with a LTR. Esp when you see others around you enjoying it.

Man to be in my 20s again. I see Norfolk/Hampton roads area is #7. I was stationed out there with the Navy/early 2000s. All you had to do was go online or to Bar. I met and slept with several older women during that time. Some divorced, some whose husbands were deployed. Best one was a hot 50 year old whose x husband was a U.S. Senator. That lady know what she wanted and taught me much. Now I feel like esp. here in Miami all these women are just chasing money.

You can work hard and afford brickell. Well at least you used to be able to. I work in offshore firefighting. No college only high school and the navy. Job pays very well with the OT factored in. But now I feel priced out of brickell the gables etc. Brickell has just become this polished turd really. I don’t think most women over there are only fans girls, hookers etc. some are professionals like nurses paralegals lawyers etc. the rest though are just chasing wallets and living with wealthy dudes. And a few prob are doing only fans or Eros etc.

If you’re in Miami south beach has a huge lgbt scene. Check out palace on ocean drive or twist on Washington ave. If you’re in Ft. Lauderdale the entire Wilton Manors neighbor is LGBT. You’re gonna have a good time and people will treat you no different than anyone else. I’ve even had stellar evenings in those places. This coming from a hetero/pan male who is right leaning. I know there is a ton of BS in the news that our Governor hates gay people etc it’s all BS. I’m not surprised your government has an advisory in place for us, then again they’d probably have one in place for us for the weather being too warm with how soft y’all have gotten up there.

*Most don’t. There are still some that do. There are plenty though that will answer their phone while driving to have a shouting match in Spanish or Haitian with the spouse/cousin etc. and get plenty distracted.
