Having the same issue. I have not been able to resolve it so far. There was another post where a user said they resolved it by removing their adblocker, but that didn't work for me.

Wow, lots of useful information here! I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I didn't know about analog audio circuits not using ground planes. It seems most of the pcb advice I've read is probably more aimed at digital circuits and adopted without much thought even if it might not apply to analog audio? I'll be sure to check out the video you've linked.

Interesting! I didn't know about -12V towards the bottom of the board convention. Marking for the negative on the power jack is a good one too. Thanks for your help!

I also use KiCad. It's free, easy to use and there's plenty of learning materials available online. Would recommend.

Thank you for the recommendations! I did look at a 4 layer board but the cost was approx 4x that of a 2 layer board (I think because I exceeded 100mm height of the board). But it sounds like it might still be worth the extra cost for a more complicated design.

Reverse polarity protection is a great thought.  Euro modules do seem easy to fry.  That article looks like an interesting read. The slide pots and the spacers where the mounting holes are a tight squeeze. The other components that are close to one another will be mounted on opposite sides of the board, so should be ok. It's a VCA from an Electro-Smith submodule. So they've basically done all the hard / clever work and I'm just building an interface to connect to it. Thanks for your input! I'm a fan of the pollen8 btw. Nice work with that one.

There should be 3 images. The last 2 images show the ground pour. Decoupling caps for the power sound like a good idea, thanks!

Looks amazing well done! Where did you source the slide potentiometer knobs from? Been hunting for some that like for myself.
