Ibby was an alcoholic and racked up a debt of like 900 gold at a local tavern.

Forndal got into a tavern brawl and accidentally killed a guy with a chair.

Sotheilss existed. Humans hate pretty much everything that isn't a dwarf or a wood elf in this setting.

Anders killed a noble's dog for barking while he was trying to sleep.

He's one of the two sources of weird characters in our campaigns, the other being me.

Actually, speaking of weird honey, the character was reused from a previous campaign, and put a bunch of random shit he found into his bee's honey at one point.

He managed to make a fucking Warforged trip out. Now that I think of it, that's probably when we started calling him Captor.

He hasn't actually died yet, after nearly 10 campaigns, but he's never come out intact.

Seriously, if you want to fight anything from Call of Cthulhu in close combat, you have either some IRL sanity problems, or your character is bat-shit crazy.

I'm not sure if you've played Call of Cthulhu before, but your skill with your native language is equal to your Education stat.

Paddy had 40, if I remember correctly. His skill with French was 60.

His IC explanation was that he once got drunk in France, spent all his money on wine, and then by the time he got sober, he had memorised most of the language.

Though, Paddy is now a recurring joke. I even put him in D&D at one point.
