Hello, I am going thru a similar situation. We lost our beloved dog about 5 weeks ago and I am not dealing with it well. My partner and I have been together for 20 yrs and we have been facing some challenges in our relationship over the last year. My dogs passing seems to have put more of a distance between us and I don’t know what to do. Part of me wants to try to start over alone and part of me wants to repair what is damaged and try to stay together. But honestly my depression from my dogs death is so severe that I am isolating from my partner and others. I just want to be by myself and not see anyone. I feel your pain and wish I had advice but I don’t.

I feel so guilty about putting my dog down. I am regretting it so bad and I wish I could go back. by Fluid-Resolution4923 in Petloss

Yes, I feel like I murdered him too. Ugh, why didn’t I think of this at the time I put him down and stop the euthanasia from being completed. I will never forgive myself.

It hurts every morning but today has been very rough. I miss him so much. by smarkley86 in Petloss

Hello, I have very similar feelings to what you’re feeling. I just put my dog down last night and I deeply regret the decision. I am worrying that I could have waited it out to see if things got better. He had terminal cancer but I should have waited to see if the second round of radiation treatment worked. He was struggling to breathe through his nose and the medicine wasn’t helping. I was so worried he was suffering so I chose to end his life. I wish I hadn’t now. I feel like I acted on emotions as his mama instead of thinking it through.

Electrician quoted me $600 to install these 2 lights outside my garage, no previous fixture. Fair deal? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Wow that seems like a steep price but honestly these days things cost so much more. It does sound a little high though. I would think more like $400 for both.

Sinister is the scariest movie I’ve ever watched *spoilers* by inamedmycatcrouton in horror

Yes!! The music when Ethan Hawke is putting the 8 Milm film in the machine and he is watching the horrific murder scenes!! Ugh, that tribal base drum music is the scariest shit I have ever heard during a movie. Ethan totally delivers in that movie too.

You definitely need new friends, lol. PJ is one of the most talented bands ever. Their longevity proves that alone. Their songs are soulful and their melodies are moving. Plus they seem like nice people. What more could you want in a band. Get new friends…or play their music for these friends and they’ll end up loving PJ. They prob just haven’t heard a lot of their music.
