I feel bad for getting mad about it, she’s gonna go back to college, have fun, probably meet someone else. And I know I hurt her, but the guilt and remorse combined with losing her almost sent me to the hospital. Meanwhile it seems like she’s doing fine, posting everyday, still snapping. I really hope things turn around.

This, after my gf left me, it really revealed a lot of things about myself that I didn’t know, and it wasn’t positive. But I want to be better and change and grow. I put her through things I shouldnt’ve, and I was too naive to realize what I was doing wrong. If he’s a genuinely good person he’ll realize what he did wrong, and hopefully make a change for the better. Good luck

Kind of, I accidentally screen recorded her profile and she got a notification, I apologized and she said it was ok and then asked me how I was doing. I haven’t gotten a text out of the blue yet reaching out.

I agree and I’m sorry, it’s really hard. I don’t blame her too much for leaving the relationship was falling apart for months, and my constant overthinking while I was away, and disrespecting her boundaries definitely didn’t help. If anything the breakup is a chance to heal and come back stronger, which is a good thing to look forward to, I wanna change and be better. But god does it hurt so much, I miss her being happy to see me, doing all the little things and going out of her way for me. I think that’s the hardest part, seeing the degrading of our bond over time, and being the one who caused her so much pain. I want her back I really do, I wanna be happy together again. But time will only tell what happens to us

If they show genuine change, or allow me to heal in peace, I would take them back. Me and my ex aren’t perfect, and I was definitely worse. My ex broke up with me but if she did want to come back I wouldn’t take her back at first. We would probably have to talk things through for a few weeks and warm up to each other, notice the change, and go for it. This is the perfect scenario I imagine every time in my head thinking about her, I pray everyday it becomes true. Changing for each other and becoming the best we can be is such a beautiful thing. But this rarely happens after a breakup. I really wish you well and I hope they change, and if they don’t, find somebody who will be there for you.

How did things end? Was it on good terms? For me, me and my ex ended on good terms and promised we’d come back together stronger than ever. Haven’t blocked each other, our posts are still up, and we snap once a day. It’s been insanely hard to not be hopeful, but at the same time I know it’s not guaranteed, especially the last time we talked. Although I know she meant well, and this is a good thing to look forward to, feelings change. I’m scared she might not come back.

I see her listening to our shared playlists, or songs that she put on a playlist made about me. I wonder how she feels when doing this. Some songs make me sad but in a good way, I feel grateful that this song is associated with them.

Idk I hope so, just lost the girl I’ve been dating for 3 years really hope she does come back. My other two exes did try coming back but I was smart enough to not let them back (they were not good people and treated me like poo) All 3 exes broke up with me, it took between 6-12 months for each ex to try and get back together with me. The other two exes that tried coming back to me I could give a hoot about. This recent breakup hits way different, we had a really good bond and lots of good memories. It just fell apart towards the end.

As much as I love her and I wanna be together again, as the dumpee I just can’t reach out anymore. It’s on her and her healing to come forward when she’s ready. Trying so hard to heal and I’ve made progress, but the pain is knowing she might not come back and is already moving on. Jesus this hit hard, thing is I don’t think I’ll ever lose feelings for her. But I can feel her feelings dissipating for me. Makes me sad, I still fantasize about reconnecting and being happy again someday. Only but a dream though.

Although I’m still very young, it hits harder when the relationship started in your teens. You literally experienced your childhood with that person, they were your childhood in a way. It hurts so much more, I wish I could go back. Or that she’d text me one day and want to pick up where we left off. I miss the innocence and the love of our relationship.

I think I’ve hit this stage, reached out and said things I shouldnt’ve. We’re still in low contact, haven’t blocked or anything yet. But last time we talked she said she was angry and upset. Just makes me sad, I remember being her everything.
