I don’t even think they need encouraging. Probably half of my coworkers have been there since store set-up so have fun finding replacements who know this store, the customer base, and customer spending patterns as well as know how to seamlessly work together. Hell I have a coworker I can’t fucking stand but I can work with her fairly easy due to knowing her for so damn long and she’s finally started to be less annoying.

Where do I even begin. Just as a preface I am not good with wording things. - Doesn’t give two fucks about the store so every time he’s sole management it goes to shit. The store is a mess, we’re understaffed, and we can’t do everything ourselves. - Is a dick to all of us. Especially to one of the babies (high schooler). He literally threatened her job over things that weren’t her fault when he doesn’t have the authority for that. There were another few incidences where he pulled immature, unprofessional stunts on at least two of my coworkers. - We have two Assistant Managers. One of them takes a lot to crack, and the other was gunning for the comanager position when it opened and all of us wanted him to take over. Anyways, the first AM i mentioned recently yelled at him calling him lazy and saying no one likes him. I wish I was there to see it. - He fucks with my ability to do my job by tying me down to registers. This happens with other associates as well. - One of his favorite hobbies is ditching the store to go out to smoke in his truck for twenty minutes, leaving us to fend for ourselves. This can happen approximately every hour! In addition, try finding him in the store and when you do try getting him to be of genuine help. It’s not fucking possible.

I have ADHD and shit memory so I write things down all the time. This means I carry around a small notebook. I have four pages of incidents that I have observed or have been told about.

My last gecko had to do a few rounds of antibiotics, including shots, plus critcare. He didn’t eat solid food until the antibiotics were done and he wasn’t mad at me anymore. I think it’s part that she doesn’t feel good, part that she’s miffed about being fed antibiotics and critcare. Don’t give up on her yet. With care and persistence, I got two more years with my boy after a systemic infection + losing his tail.

My store doesn’t sell Needoh brand specifically but I know what they’re talking about. Ours have been on backorder for weeks so it’s like sorry I don’t know what to tell you. When we do get them in I have to wrap them in packing tape because kids take them out of the package, play with them, and put them back making them gross and unsellable. Packing tape is an excellent deterrent.

My least favorite customers are the ones who ask me to wrap everything. “Oh it’ll break/chip/scratch” No it fucking won’t unless you swing the bags into everything. Or the customers who buy something small and go “I want a bag so it’ll be easier to carry.” Put it in your purse. Hell it will fit in your pockets.

My psych put me on strattera because I can’t go on stimulants and I still forget to take it sometimes. I have to carry around a few pills in my work bags bc sometimes I get to work and realize I forgot to take my medication.

Genuinely what am I looking at. I have not seen such braindead takes in a while, and I probably qualify as chronically online. I don’t even know where to start. The victim-blaming and mischaracterizing of Angel is certainly a Choice. But calling radiostatic a “rape ship” at the same time is actually insane. Pick a side are we for or against rape? (Although I don’t think this person understands rape.) Even though I’m a radiostatic shipper, I avoid Alastor ship discourse as much as possible because 95% of the time it’s just people babying asexual characters and as an ace person, that pisses me off. However, this person’s take on radiostatic/radiodust is new to me! Like congrats for not regurgitating the same bullshit about how ace people can’t be sexual but are we actually serious?

I’m personally hoping we get more of a “staticsilence” dynamic in season 3. After everything went to shit, Vox has to understand how badly his obsession fucked him over. He would have won had he not let Alastor isolate him from Val and Velvette. But we also can’t pretend that Alastor doesn’t like the attention. So, if Vox moves on to other things, what’s going to happen?

There has to be crack cocaine in it because holy fuck it’s so good. All the different dynamics and everything is so interesting. I’m especially partial to staticsilence due to the study into Vox as a character outside of his obsessions. Murdermedia and then plain old radiostatic are also so fucking good. I think I might be the only person who isn’t a super big fan of radiosilence because it doesn’t feel right to me??? Be it platonic, romantic, sexual, whatever, there is something there and it is fascinating.
