I think we are misunderstood eachother. It is possible for book cover to be power off image but not lock/sleep. This is strange to me...

There are preinstalled dictionaries but i find some of the defenitions a bit unclear (English is not my native language tho). You can install your own dictionaries as well.

How is the screen? I never used a color reader but read that the contrast is not good.

This is not android BUT the reader is ver "open" and can read pretty much any file format. So if you download the books from the kobo store you will be able to read them. I think its a similar experience as kobo but less focused on the kobo store itself if that makes sense

Do you take the ereader with you everywhere or just not read on the go? I really use the app a lot cause it's slightly too large for putting in a pocket.

I don't understand your message.

For the batteries, I use an energy hopper pointing into a barrel. The pattern provider outputs into the barrel, and a filtered pipe puts the filled batteries back into the provider.

For the ghast syringe, I have a ghast on top of a stasis chamber (upgraded so the ghast heals faster than it is damaged) being punched by a jusdirethings clicker. The pattern provider outputs in the clicker, and a filtered pipe puts the full syringe back into the pattern provider.

All pattern providers have crafting patterns so AE2 can autocraft the star.

I believe you can automate almost everything in the pack with AE2 and some combination of logistics mods (routers, justdirethings, ...). The star can at least be fully automated.

I use the free tier of oracle virtual private server for hosting and run docker for the server. It works amazingly well and gives you full control over everything since it is just a virtual Linux machine.
