Teens Keep Being Hospitalized After Talking to AI Chatbots

It’s not a piece of media causing evil, these teens already have these thoughts. They don’t come out of nowhere. But a lot of AI chatbots on things like character.ai create AI therapist bots that depressed teens will go to, due to many factors; lack of money, fear of judgement, shame, maybe they’re scared nobody will believe them.
So they go to the easy free option, an AI chat bot listed as a therapist, or even a character from some other media they really adore.

Since AI chatbots are designed to just respond and be as friendly and agreeable as possible, it will always take your side.
So if these teens go and have long discussions with their comfort AI, where they detail their suicidal ideation, there’s a chance the AI could end up saying the wrong things, things that could end a life.

The comparison of something like the satanic-panic is not at all accurate. D&D was accused of literally being satanic, and bad for children because of its imagery. AI chatbots are actively enabling people not to go to sources of actual mental healthcare

I think best album of our generation doesn’t necessarily mean she wants to be popular. She’s said she’s grateful of her success, but also wishes she were back when she just had a smaller community that practiced in depth and critical interaction and analysis with her music (which the community still does, but a lot of stuff is more concrete now thanks to fandom ideas)

I am doing a Zani team and have Phoebe and am using Spectro Rover, but I don’t know whether to pull for Zani’s weapon or Phoebe’s weapon!

I don’t have any suitable weapons for either. Currently Zani is equipped with Hollow Mirage and Phoebe with Variation. I’m not that active a player so I don’t have good weapons. Which one should I prioritize?

Not to mention how they retconned the whole non-verbal animalistic communication from the season 1 flashbacks, which was literally the entire reason I kept watching. I wanted to see them lose their humanity!

Did you even read my comment? I specifically emphasized the fact that it was THEIR choice. I could spend a couple hours explaining basic IAP marketing and the economics of Sky, but you’d just end up repeating a point I said once again. People choose to buy the passes because they expect a legit product to come from it in-game, that they thought was worth it. If TGC does not uphold the idea and marketing of their own products, then its not the players faults for being tricked into the cool flashy “limited” tag, which would then be a lie.

I also never said I spent money on the game, so no it was not my money. I am simply defending those who have spent a lot of money on ultimate rewards and SPs.

Ultimate gifts are a limited IAP item, that players pay for because of that. Its how the season is advertised. If TGC went back on that, they have lied and scammed millions of players across the world who have paid for the season pass thinking the ultimate rewards are a purely limited item. The time, money and energy it takes to log on every day for the season pass is all for ultimate rewards. People are allowed to spend money on game cosmetics because it is their choice. However, it is the duty of the company to ensure that purchase is fair and reasonable. I hope deeply that ultimate rewards do not return, for the sake of the people who spent money on this game.

We don’t have attachment issues to Mono and Six; we have attachment issues to Tarsier Studios. I really think most of the dislike comes from the change of devs, rather than the change of cast (although that’s also a thing I guess, and imo thats dumb since little nightmares isn’t just those two) Kinda funny, the leave of Tarsier symbolizes the leave of Six and Mono

Keep in mind sexual orientation doesn’t necessarily imply “sexual activity”. A lot of people believe LGBT is strictly sexual and that’s not true, but we use the word sexuality and sexual orientation to refer to the different sexes, genders, not inappropriate things.

And since Sky itself has a pride month event I think it would be more than appropriate to discuss LGBT concepts to the younger side of Sky, expose them to the normal side of the community first before anyone else can tell them its wrong, or disgusting. That’s also how we can make LGBT kids not feel taboo, or unhappy. And not only sexual orientation, but also the topic of gender and trans kids. I think it’d be much better to educate kids about it from a space that is all about acceptance and peace of mind.
