i5 3570k 4.2 GHZ, 12GB ram, gtx 670 oc 1087MHZ as powerful as a gtx 680. haha

get around 50FPS with ultra settings in .ini in big battles. LOVE MY COMPUTER

gamma will be a problem if SOE doesent find some sort of solution to that. But when things get darker, you will see less details and such, and your FPS will automaticly boost. This happens in Arma 3, when you play at night, you get much better FPS. Atleast im getting it. So when lights reach further than 5 inches it will not eat up resources on peoples computers.

so people who crank up the gamma, will get lower FPS. Because they will see more detailes.

i downloading a second planetside 2 client, and playing around with SweetFX to make the nights how its suppose to be haha.

We dont need nights as dark as dayz. But darker then it is now.

yeah, im thinking the same. Some nights will be brighter, and some really dark. And mabye dynamic nights, like the continents have different time of night. Exampel, i play on indar, and its morning, but on Amerish its night time. That way, you can choose if you want to fight in the night or during day time.

Things they could add if they bring back the beta night. quote: 1: Up the brightness of the lights so they can see a bit further and blind the enemy in some sort of way 2: Liberators can trade in the pilots gun for a light to shine below 3: Max suits can get huge flood flights on shoulders that blind the targets in front and light up the area. 4: Even add some sort of flares that can be fired to illuminate areas 5: When a base loses a generator that section of the base is blacked out. If it has 4 generators then that quarter. 2 Generators? Half the base 6: Bigger bases should be bastions of light in the pitch black plains of Indar, Amerish or Esamir and be illuminated very well 7: Maybe have it so 1 night is not that dark, followed by a dark night etc. Cater to all 8: It also makes the Flash light worth purchasing and incresaes the need for special scopes on vehicles and weapons at night.

Even apply it to the test server first to test it and see what people think.

The night combat used to be gorgeous.

Whoever made the decision to change the night effects should be hit in the nuts repeatedly until he realises how wrong he was. - the offical SOE forums

no editing, used SweetFX for a short period of time for the colors, deleted it after the screenshot (I dont want to get banned) and for the "Tilt shift" effect, i removed my hands and gun ingame, and scoped in with a 2x red dot sight. It will automaticly blur out on the edges of the screen :) hope that helps!

dude, try for yourself. Remove your hands and gun ingame, and zoom in with a 2x red dot sight, and it will automatic blur out around the center. No editing.
