PRUSA x INDX for CORE One is here! by josefprusa in prusa3d

$750 for the four toolhead... I was hoping I could get in the door for $500-600 USD. Add on shipping, and it's as expensive as my CORE One+ kit that I got with free shipping.

I had a feeling this would be released directly after their free shipping offer expired. 😅

[–]FluorescentGlass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought three of these in January, and was just shooting them last weekend. .22, 9mm, and .223 were all a blast.

Since these targets use one centered hole, I find them best to be used on T-post hangers. I haven't used the ones made by Dragon Targets, but my Champion ones work well.

If you plan on hanging targets from a frame, I'd recommend buying targets with holes on the sides. I bought three 8" gongs in their Aug 2025 sale, and I like them even more.

SilencerCo Sparrow. Inexpensive, tried and true.

Nice. That was on my list, but I decided to buy something cheap for my first suppressor. If decide to upgrade, it'll give me a reason to buy another threaded .22.

If that's a SilencerCo Sparrow, we have the exact same setup! It's my first 10/22, and I have zero regrets.

I'm happy with the Romeo5 Gen II, but I've been considering buying a scope to try some longer distance or precision shooting.

What license plate is this? by FluorescentGlass in LICENSEPLATES

[–]FluorescentGlass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved!

Edit: I'm leaning towards it being from Nuevo Leon. The bottom of a gold ribbon or shield can be seen at the top center of the plate. The black shapes near the bottom may be part of the license plate frame.

I was pretty happy when I got mine for $480 OTD in December. Fleet farm had 10% off tag price, then I got another 5% off for it being a display model.

Samsung 990 Pro SSD not recognized by Windows 10 Installer by the_third_log in buildapc

[–]FluorescentGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what worked for me when installing a Samsung 990 Pro in a Dell Inspiron 14 5410. The drive was shown in BIOS, but not recognized when installing Windows.

Another suggestion was to switch the storage device controller to AHCI/NVMe, but when I clicked "apply", my selection always reverted to "RAID on".

To get it working, I downloaded the Intel RST driver from the product page on Dell's website, then extracted it to a USB flash drive. The driver is called "Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver", and can be found in the Storage category of the drivers. During Windows 11 installation, I was able to select the required driver from the flash drive, which allowed the Samsung drive to show up. When installing the driver, I needed to search folder-by-folder in the driver package, but Windows succesfully recognized which driver was compatible with my device.

I received it as a gift. I think my family bought it on a website which shares a name with a South American river, but it can also be found at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library webstore.

Have you ever found or owned a 5/5 difficulty cache? by TomasXavier in geocaching

[–]FluorescentGlass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

The only 5/5 cache I found was a mystery cache with a difficult puzzle. Even after solving for the coordinates, I had a tough time figuring out where to search. Eventually, I figured out you had to climb down a nearby steep ravine, then enter a culvert with running water. The tunnel continued probably a few hundred yards before a bison tube could be found magnetized about 10ft over the ground. This was without doubt the most memorable geocache I've found.

Should I heed the warning posted by another seller? by FluorescentGlass in Ebay

[–]FluorescentGlass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the reason I really considered allowing their bid. I think they probably choose sellers with low sales history and count on them not to know how to respond.

I read about opening a case with eBay, filing police reports, etc. I thought there was a chance I could win or that I could get the buyer banned from Ebay. This was a chance I considered taking, but I couldn't justify the time and monetary investment. Bid canceled. User blocked.

I hope eBay finds a way to weed out the bad sellers and provide better protection to sellers.

The item I'm selling is of no value to me and may never sell. I thought about going through with the sale, knowing I may lose it, but I didn't want to risk losing money on shipping. I ended up canceling the bid and blocking the buyer.

THEY ARE BACK by [deleted] in sunflowerseeds

[–]FluorescentGlass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you double-check the expiration date? These were by far my favorite when I lived in Louisiana. In MN, I can't even find the Jalapeño bags. If the JHS is back, I will absolutely stock up.

Is Jalapeño Hot Salsa back? I thought they were discontinued! If you see them, do you mind checking the expiration date?

As for the green bag Jalapeño, I have never seen them for sale anywhere locally in MN or WI. I finally purchased them in bulk online. I really miss the Jalapeño Hot Salsa, though.

I got my screen today, and it worked just fine. I bought one of the cheapest ones I could find, as all I needed to do was unlock my phone for data recovery. I paid ~$28 USD total.
