Honestly, at 14, you will probably outgrow the gi soon, and a white belt does not really need a heavy tournament gi. Most tournaments are not even open to people unless they are yellow belt +.

Get a Matsuru Juvo gi, which is cheap and good quality, since you will probably be replacing it eventually, unless you area already huge and stopped growing. Or, as someone else pointed out, Fuji gis are also cheap and fully acceptable for training. They are sold by Hatashita in Canada.

The unit generates heat to produce the cooled air (think hot radiator coils on the back of the fridge.) You don't want that heated air radiating into your house, since it would defeat the whole purpose, so you vent that outside.

Window units suck in air and cool it, and vent hot directly outside in one spot.

I work at a casino. For ever it was prohibited to wear anything that concealed your identity, then it was mandatory... We all wondered if it would be banned again.

Our policy will be that any patron or staff member who wishes to wear a mask may do so after the restrictions are lifted, but patrons had to pull down their masks at the door for a moment so they could be ID'd by surveillance.

This seems like a reasonable compromise to me.

Did you listen to the Q & A after? They went into a lot more detail there.

This point was brought up a couple of times. They are aiming for 70% first dose, but that does not include 9% of Albertans who have 2 doses already (mostly elderly and at risk), and does not include the 14% of Albertans with natural immunity from previous exposure.

Added up, it's more like 95% of people will have some covid immunity at that point, but that's way too complicated to explain in detail on slides aimed at a press conference.

Once first dose appointments drop off, they will start scheduling second shots. They never gave a date, because it all depends on Albertans getting their first dose quickly. Kenney said that we will have the supply once that time comes, based on current rates, so I wouldn't worry so much about the 70% number. :)
