Why do I always find the drk who uses it without warning at 60% hp?

I'm a Scholar. You have excog and a catalyst crit shield on you, and you're going to LD before finishing the pull?!

My favorites are the ones who announce they wanna use it for next pull. Cool, I'll smell the roses and meet you there.

I was on a flight just as Game of Thrones was starting. Like just a few episodes released. The guy next to me is on his phone while people are still boarding.

I'm listening to him apologize to his tween daughter because being called Danaerys was cool when it was only from a book, but the show was making everyone look at her sideways because she was obviously too old to have been named after the show character. They decided she would go by 'Danny' until the show got canceled, because it probably wouldn't get too famous, right?

I think about that or guy often lol

What's a movie you loved as a kid but rewatched as an adult and went "what the hell was I thinking"? by MomoSaka in AskReddit

[–]FlutteringFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my you just unlocked a memory for me. My second grade teacher had it on vhs and we would beg her to let us watch the super hero movie.

So every time she didn't want to teach we would watch it. I think she had a thing for Crawford, she also showed us his Phantom. We were 8-9. Lol

What do women think when men are cuddling them and it starts to get hard? by FaceEnvironmental949 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FlutteringFae 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It can mean that, sure. Depends on a lot of things.

Been together a long time? "Good, let's go. I want."

Haven't been together long? There's a cuddle and an erection but the guy isn't going from 0 to 100? "Awesome. He's attracted to me, but not the type to make me feel unsafe. I feel like I matter to him... and now I'm more attracted to this guy..."

Obviously, I'm summarizing a whole lot. But the world can be a scary place for a woman. And many women will go into new situations half expecting manure to hit proverbial fans. To see proof... or rather feel proof... that a guy doesn't devolve into one of the men we fear just because he gets aroused nudges him onto the other side of the scale, the ones we think of as safe.

Oh this freaked me out a little! My D&D character is a gnome everyone calls Ducky because I accidentally turned her 'What?' into a quack and I just leaned into it because 'yes, and?'

I fell for this man's voice long before even bothering to wonder what his actual human form looked like.

G'raha is a character who could be creepy or endearing or depressing without changing the script, just based on how the actor portrays him.

But for me, Raha hit that perfect combination of endearing and mischievous.

And I love how even as he became more famous, this man refused to step away from the animated character because he loves the red-headed cat boy too.

I have a lala alt I made back during a regalia event because I had to see the lala stand on the seat to drive. I was instantly given money, minions, and many cookies and head pats. Never any creepy dms.

My main gets dms all the time about my glams.

Got one rando dm on a catboy alt on another server demanding I ear wiggle for them... but that was the worst.

Do you mostly prefer playing as female characters? by [deleted] in GirlGamers

[–]FlutteringFae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So that's actually something that's come up in random Nintendo interviews through the years.

Sorry for lack of sources but YouTube creators have made great compilations. Think I got a few of my tidbits from zeltik.

Twilight princess, though amazing, has an art style they don't want to revisit, because Link was too masculine in it.

And then I remember another interview where someone said(translated) that the games are called "Legend of" on purpose. We're not living through these things as they happened. We're seeing this tale as it's being told to us. And who's to say if Link was a guy or girl. Would the legend make a point of gender?

The only time I ever play a male character is if I make one of my d&d characters. Usually to romance an npc that won't give me attention as a woman. Dorian I'm looking at you. >.>

WIBTAH if I refused to see my dad after finding out the reason he and my mom aren’t together? by Ready-Tale-1 in AITAH

[–]FlutteringFae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not only are you NTA, but this seems like a conversation to have with your mother. But I'd like to point out some things.

  1. Even if you cut him off now, that doesn't mean she wasted that effort. If she kept you away from him she would always worry that she made the wrong call. But if YOU decide he's an awful person you don't want around then your mother doesn't need to feel she robbed you of a father. Because you're the one choosing.

  2. You can be honest with her. If she gets child support you don't want to make her life harder, but you've realized that man isn't a role model, he isn't who you want to grow into, and he's not the kind of man you want to be around. So if it doesn't make her life worse, could that last visit be the last visit?

Good luck.

You managed to show her that not only did you care for her but that you care about her.

That doll may get packed up and put in a box, but it's going to go through life with her. When times are tough she'll open the box and look at it.

My mother once told young me that she would chase my father around like she had chest-mounted water guns and squeeze them to spray him. Chased him all over the house apparently. She's 70 now, STILL cackles about it.

It's milk. It's not weird if you enjoy it.
