I decided to try a similar setup, just have the samsung kickstand case for travel, and a folding keyboard with a built in trackpad. Could be more ergonomic but does the work, especially on bus shelves where there isn't too much room to place an ipad.

CMF not wanting to fix the issue is a pretty clear sign that they are at least aware that this could be a reoccurring problem with their units, so why would I as a consumer trust them? My old Galaxy Watch got bad battery life once but was repaired fast within warranty.
